I was coming back from a good day at Cadwell Park after watching my mate kick ass today, and there was a tit in a Z3 2.0i (the really quick one :rolleyes: ) and he was really peeing me off by over taking on blind corners etc. Anywho, we got to a set of traffic lights, I pulled next to him, he started to rev the puney engine, the lights changed and we both shot off, I absolutely wasted him, but i was in my £600 bag'o'shag V6 Cavalier. Even his Missus was laughing at him. :xxx: Rich:)

DOH! Went for a blast today with the excuse of going to B&Q. Having a bit of a laugh, floored it and heard some detonation so backed off quick - caught the boost gauge at around 17psi. Anyway, do a recall on the boost controller and the peak was 18.4psi :shock: , no bl00dy wonder it was detonating. :nono: Looks like my re-circs were probably leaking, as this is the first proper spin since I removed them (car came with Blitz BOV's but re-circs still fitted). Also noticed my vaccum is a strong -20 now and hitting -24 on engine braking. So, must remeber to take it easy after changing something :slap: ...and yes, I've backed the boost back down to 1ba…

I've never used this stuff before and I'm sure most of you guys have, but if you haven't then I just have to say this stuff is top notch. I was amazed by how easy it was to use, jsut wipe on with a tissue rub a little and wipe off and your zorst will look like this !!!! 5/5 for me :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Did anyone watch this, It was on men and motors at 9pm today. There was a tosser with some fooking neons on a S4S, what an absolute w@nk splat. Other than that, I now want a V8GT for a daily drive of course, keep the Z for the real fun;)

Having started uni this year i sold my Z, we're not even allowed cars here and its not like i would be able to afford it anyway. Driving normal cars, after having the Z, is just PANTS. So i was thinking i could take my direct access bike test and get me a sweet little puppy of a bike. I know nothing about what bikes good etc tho, infact my bike experience is limited to hiring mopeds in Lanzarote, so what would be a half decent bike to start on? Was thinking something around a cheap 400cc, but makes, models? bah dont have a clue. Comeon what's considered quite good? I don't want the Nova of the bike world.

MOT day today...passed without any trouble, save for 2 new back tyres which i knew about. However the guy said that i'd need a new steering rack for the next MOT. How much are they new and has anyone repalaced them?

Took my zed on its longest trips since I've had it this weekend. Friday blasted up the M6 to Disbury to pick up a mate then across to York. A weekend of cruising and boozing :duffer: then back down to Daventry via Manchester again today. Fook me the acceleration at motorway speeds with overdrive clicked off is addictive :cool: And the noise :bow: I wonder what Mr M3/Boxter/etc thinks when you tear up to his arse in lane 3, sit behind him then he moves over then two seconds later you just rip past and disappear :rofl: Badly sunburnt after doing one leg with the t-tops off lol, worth it though :D:D:D We need more zed appreciation threads, they're fooking grea…

Well, as weve managed to make 5 pages of things we dont like, lets see how much things we do like about the z.

its sunday and im not going to mess with the big silver annoyance (my Z) today. does anyone know where to look for some nice bits? im looking for tasty bits to look at and mayb to buy. when i say tasty i dont mean to dress it up. i mean to make it go fast and not break. things like competition valves/cams/turbos/crank/stronger bearings, etc? anybody got contacts for convertions to roller bearings an other usefull stuff? like i said, not interested in dress up. just strong power :dance:
