Hi all just want to say how efficient the Passport Agency were today.... I had to renew my passport in a hurry for a business trip to Sweden( :p ). I had a 9.15 appointment in London for the premium same day service, got there at just gone 9. Despite queueing for the security guards to open the doors at 9.20, I handed my forms in at 9.30, paid at 9.35 and walked out at midday with a new passport  Wish I could say the same for Chiltern Railways :xxx: Decided to take the train, drove to the station, paid to park (which also fekked me off - Saturday?? They want us not to drive  ) then found that half the journey to Marylebone would be replace…

Mind if I vent a bit of anger? When we bought our Vectra SRi about a year ago it had just had its full cambelt service costing £500odd to the prev owner. Nice. 6 months later the water pump leaks water everywhere, it wasn't changed with the cambelt service  Cambelt off and cost £200odd to us. The "engine electrics light" came on the other day, car went into a safety mode and wouldn't rev v high and cut off a couple of times. Restarted fine though. Its just gone into Vauxhall and (for £60 :xxx: ) they hooked it up to their diagnostic (ie Vauxhall ConZult) which said the camshaft sensor is dicky. Result, cambelt off and £165 - arghhh! Alth…

Getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning to fly to Paris! Parental unit number one has been made a member of the British Hairdressing Team and my girlfriend is her model so I'm tagging along to carry the cases, speak French poorly and loudly at confused natives and generally try to keep things running smoothly while they and the rest of the squad compete in the international hair show. Just thought I'd share as I'm bored after finishing packing! :D Mmmmm....hundreds of beautiful international models wearing very little clothing.... :slap: my bad self! No harm in window shopping mind ;) :D Leigh.

As part of my job, I provide IT training to a number of customers. I have been asked by a few customers to provide on my website, a database of courses attended by their staff. I'm going to need to.. 1. Store student name, date attended, course name and date next course is due 2. Attach a certificate (probably in PDF format) so that they can print it off 3. Provide a user name and password for each customer 4. Ensure that cutomers can only see their own records 5. Provide a rudimentary query feature (eg: by date range) My web server supports PHP4, MySQL and Chillisoft ASP and I have been using DreamWeaver as the development platform. Does any…
