General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I'm ok, just a bit of whiplash I guess, hit a car running a red light going straight across my path, she had two kids in the back, I was panicking thinking I'd injured her kids, but looks like I've missed them and caved in her drivers door... couldn't believe how smashed the side of her car was and how (relatively) little damage to the front of my car... I hit her at a good twenty mph, so jarred my neck pretty bad, but main thing is her kids were ok. can't believe she would be driving like that with two little ones in her car, silly bitch. I've attached a pic of the damage, I might have got away with some new glass and a re-spray, but it's cracked left of the number …

Can anybody recommend a good piece of free software to rip MP3s from CDs? Everything I can find is either a free trial period or has quality limited until you pay up for the software.... Something nice and simple and free like DVD shrink would be cool.... Cheers

I've posted two separate threads in the 'Was It You' section, two days apart. Both had "....... in Grantham" in the title, and both had three people look at the thread only :confused: So, what I want to know is...... Who? I find it a bit of a coincidence that both threads just had the three people look... was it the same three??........ As, as far as i know, there aren't any other members, subscribed or registered, that are from Grantham, or very close. I'm assuming that they must live close by, otherwise, unless they were travelling through Grantham at the time (in Zeds), then why bother to look? :confused: Sorry, just more ramblings from me ;)

My little site about Z's, Meets and stuff has been started today!! So far theres a few bits n bobs on it, I'll be looking to incorparate the National events into it and maybe have a little meets forum aswell. Ive gotta say a HUGE thanks to both Mike Groves and T-Pot Mike for getting the domain name and hosing the site for a year after i won the years web hosting in the christmas raffle. :D and to T-Pot, for spending most of the day setting up and sorting the website and putting up with dumb-ass questions from me most of the day aswell. Hi Mike, I wondered if we could give Guest visitors Ride pic access.? Its just that I noticed a lot of people use Pictures from their rides section in their signature. When a guest user visits without being logged it means you get broken image icons all over the place in messages.

Just arrived home from Santa Pod. I took the Z down the quarter mile but times were not good cos the track was very cold and not very sticky, plus there was snow on and off. Not that i'm making excuses. Ooops on my third run the car flicked its back end I lost her and had a spectacular crash with sparks and everything as I hit the wall. I think I worried the guy in the other lane as i plunged accross the track towards his wall. I am fine but the Lady was not so lucky, my rear end is squashed and half my paintwork lives on the wall at Pod. Woke up this morning and had to go out the back of the house and get my house keys which I'd left in my car. Didn't notice anything odd but then my mum calls me and says the sheds been broken into!!!! :mad: . The police told her not to go down there as there'd be foot prints in the snow and they'd get someone down here. This was at 8:15. At 4:00 they turned up and dusted down for prints (we'd called back since then and they told us to put stuff back in there to dry out). The shed is quite secure as it has a proper lock on the front and the windows are backed by curtains. Trouble is there's a railway line behind our place and there's always people walking down it. Hi hope this wont get edited, my Dad has got a company that make dust caps for MG, Rover, etc. now these are high quality caps not crappy ally ones they are heavyweight brass caps chrome plated to grade 3 (Thick!!) they then have whatever logo placed in the top and enamelled in. We are looking to branch out and as a member I wondered what the interest would be to other zedders for sets of these with the zed in the top?? If we have enough interest we can produce a batch for the club (maybe re subscribing members as gifts? Club people??)
