Was going to get myself insured under Classic insurence with Heritage but for some reason they've changed their age limit so you now have to be 30 years old. I can't believe I have failed on these things. Boot won't open. Small blow in the exhaust between the cat and the rear section join. Spoiler brake light not working. That makes my car a real death trap and surely unroadworthy! These MOT rules drive me mad :headvswal I know about the others and have sorted the brake light already but can someone out there tell me why the hell my boot not opening is a fail! I just bought my ZX from a friend of a friend who imports Japs. He sold me he's own car and apparently it's churning out +400bhp will top 205 mph and does 0-60 in 4.7 secs. My missus gets back to our motor today after doin a hard days graft to find some c**t has hurled a brick through the f***in near side front window, the f***in stupid w4nker as thrown it that hard that its bounced of the dash above the steerin wheel completely f***in it up and then its bounced up and cracked the f***in windscreen and then hit the speaker in the drivers door makin a f***in mess of that too! Just been down to check me garage after about three months.Had me two bomb proof pad locks super glued.I have ordered some neat acitone solvent (1 ltr) off the net.Will this stuff free them up?Car is still up north.

Well removed th speedo converter and took her out for a drive to see if there was any difference, expected the steering to be back to normal which it was, but what i didnt expect was my gearbox no longer thuds into gear but is smooth as silk, so im happy :)

Alas my poor battery died the other weekend. I was giving the car a hoover using the car-vac plugged into the ciggie lighter socket. I stopped for 20 mins or so to chat with my neighbour, then went to start the car to put it in the garage again when....nothing :nono: Anyhoo I replaced it with a nice new one from Cafco http://www.cafco.co.uk Only cost £34+vat :hyper: The ZX now runs way better - who'd have thought what a difference a new battery could make :hyper: Richard :D
