Hi I´ll be moving to Bedforshire Luton very soon but I needed to find out something if someone could help? how is the electric Bill and also gas and water paid? I mean how does it work in the Uk? is electricty when you rent a flat paid once a month? once every 2 months tri mester? how about water and gas? and what is approximately the bill normally if you live by yourself and not use the electricty that much? what´s the avarage bill you normally get?? Was coming up to a set of traffic lights - wanted to go ahead. But the ahead/left lane had lots of cars and the right turn lane was empty so I went in that. When the lights went green I booted it and nipped in front of the 'straight ahead' queue - no worries. Then the car suddenly went proper sideways and, like in any panic situation I just froze ... heading for a cyclist ... arrggghhhhh I hit the brakes and it came back into line..... phew! Bit of a close one - I'll be more careful in the wet from now! Anyone else had a near miss recently?

god a '00 328ci courtesy car from the garage at the moment, good god, for a supposedly "sporty" car its soooooo slooooooow, must have got used to the 280BHP thing too much, the zed was quick, the M3 not quite so but still fun, the 328 is a complete dog, takes FOREVER get get the revs up high when accelerating and the "switchtronic" auto/manual thing its got is the biggest pile of crap I have ever used, would warn anybody off owning one of these heaps... its shit...

Been thinking about getting an NA as a daily driver, obviously keeping it standard and (Although have you seen those stainless headers on Ebay for £150!) keeping the TT modded mother for the weekends. Has anyone else done this? Anyone think of any pros/cons? Opinions appreciated..... TA..... ;)

With my daily-drive Zed off the road for a weeks or 2, I'm cycling everywhere. And it's becoming... fun. :eek: The one-off times I've cycled to and from work before it was always a pain in the Yaris, but having to do it each day you get into it more. Better for the enviroment ;) better for my wallet and probably better for my poor Zed, as it's only about 3-4 miles each way! Mark

Trying to work out the best/cheapest route to go with the engine swap! now I could use my Z as the guinea pig or[as someones got one for sale at the mo'] go for a rolling chassis and sell my car to fund it! :headvswal Considering how much they are fetching at present I don't think there would be much in it,obviously I would have a good TT engine to sell and a/box etc.etc but then I could sell her ''as is''...............need more sums doing methinks! :slap:
