Hope you can give some advise....... Following on from daves_new_zx thread...... My annual holiday entitlement is 25 days per year. In march I took 13 days holiday to go to Thailand, which was obviously well within my annual limits. I have come back from holiday to find that my branch has been sold to another company, and the completion date is this Friday 29th April. I've just been paid, but wages have DEDUCTED over a weeks salary from my pay cheque, and I've just been told that the new company do not have to honour it. Basically I've just lost a quarter of this months salary and been told...'tough'. Really fooks me off, coz not only did I not know that my…

Our A380 has made a succesful take-off - everyone in the company watched it live on big screens etc. Feel very proud to have had a large part to play in building the wings - something to tell the kids about (if I ever have any!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4488361.stm

From now on the following terms must be used on the forum. Fat b*****d is now "Person containing many fat molecules" Shorty is now "Person with minimal arse to ground clearance" Bald is now "Extended forehead" Ugly is now "Visually dis-pleasing" Slag is now "Woman discovering her inner emotions" What others can you think of  Paul

Debbie Does Dallas Uncovered Channel 4 Wed Apr 27 11:05 PM 1 (60 min., Subtitledin English, United Kingdom, Adult movies) Add to My Calendar The Dark Side of Porn season continues. Debbie Does Dallas was made 25 years ago and is one of the world's highest-grossing pornographic films of all time. The plot is simple, a group of teenage girls sell sexual favours in order to raise enough cash to get into cheerleading school, but the mystery shrouding the film and the people involved is much less straightforward. But the film once dubbed 'happy porn' by industry insiders has a darker side that has left a multitude of unanswered questions in its wake. Who …

Went to get in the Omega to go to work this morning and noticed that both the headlamp washer jets had been half inched! FFS phoned Vauxhall just now and the jets are £32 each but if the holders are missing (which I think they are) that's another £50 each so your talking nearly 200 squids to replace them. Not impressed!!!

What would you expect to pay for a respray in a different colour? Ie, exterior of the car, door shuts, boot and bonnet jams, excluding paint. Just interested to know. Thanks Alex B

  16. The company who are interested in buying the place where I work, have been given untill the end of April to make their final decission as to whether they are or not. Although we expect that they'll be given another four weeks  Back in November 2004 we were told that we, originally, had a guaranteed job untill the end of March this year. Now due to this interest from this other company, this was extended untill they decide 'Yay or Nay'. At the end of February this year, we were given a 'Letter Of Pending Redundency', which basically means none of us can apply for a loan, buy a car on HP, obtain a new mortgage etc!!! Our lives have been on-hold since Novembe…

Guys ( & Girls) Is Guildford Cathedral one of the settings for The Exorcist - I'm thinking of the scene when the cross falls and kills the priest. When you drive past it on the A3 it's a pretty imposing place. Of course being a complete wiener and avoiding horror films like the plague I may have got the wrong film :p Mark
