General Discussions - Non 300ZX

thinking of trading in my z and my 4x4 on a 350z, thought on this :confused: would ony leave me with a 350 and my 206, nothing for going off road and nothing for towing, is it worth it????????

I've been contacted by someone "on behalf of the RAC" offering an additional insurance policy so that if I'm hit by an uninsured driver :wack: I don't lose my no-claims bonus, etc. I'm not insured with anything RAC related, I just have the recovery. They reckon 1 in 4 drivers are uninsured (good ol' scare tactics!) yet the premium is only £15 per year. I'd have thought that for such a "big problem" you'd be paying a lot more. :confused: Does anyone know if these policies actually are actually worth anything? :bow: Or am I just being sceptical?! :D Mark

Just though id post some pics of my work in progress boot install. Feel free to leave any comments etc. PS. I was pootling to work this morning, keeping it nice and gentle like i do when the engine's cold, when i see a white sierra rapidly closing in on me. come up to a roundabout and take a right to go up the hill. me in the left-hand lane and sierra moved over to the outside lane. me gets ready about to drop a gear when the lights ahead of us change to RED. BWUHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! sierra suddenly slows down and lags behind. i pull up to lights, sierra kind of sittingly timidly at my o/s rear. me gazing out of window not noticing lights changed to green :slap: and sierra (XR 4x4 BTW :rolleyes: ) has pulled off but is going far too slow - waiting for me to catch up or dropping out…

We have ordered some bits from Asia just over 2 weeks ago. I want to use an old Libretto inside my Z. The power supply output is 15v 2a. What would happen if I had a direct supply from the cig lighter? With the engine running it's up just over 14v, would that run it? Cheers Vijay

Well done to Oliver Jaques, took a wildcard ride 10 days ago for Kawasaki and finished 2nd behind Rossi, if there was a couple of more laps, id reckon he'd of won it! as an overseas user i sometimes feel frustrated about not being able to communicate with other Z owners in my own country, as there is not enough of them to justify a website. But a couple of weeks ago i discovered an Irish forum on cars in general, which I found by accident , joined it, and actually got some good advice and praise about Z. I will never phone a potential buyer -so don't ask me to :nono: The onus is on the BUYER to PHONE THE SELLER :mac1: I would not chase up a "give me a call buyer" even if I missed a potential sale, as it's rude and implies "I'm desperate to sell my 300ZX - please buy off me" - **** OFF !! :slap: Go buy a different car dick-head - BMW might suit you !.
