I washed her this morning before I came to work (only started work at 12:30 ;) ) so as it was such a nice day when I was leaving the house, I decided to bring the Zed to work. Now as I knew I'd be here all afternoon, and after a certain point nobody else would be, I decided to bring all my polishing stuff with me :D So I've just spent the last 2 hours polishing her  she's all nice and shiney now. Just a shame I've got another 2 hours to sit here and wait for the cleaners to finish and fook off before I can go. Anyway, just thought I'd share this totally useless bit of info with you all :D Good old pointless, random postings ;)

  2. Picked my ZX back up from Nisstek (sp.) on Bank Holiday Monday (thanks to PR for opening up for me). Anyhoo just phoned now to speak with Peter and their answering machine message says they are relocating due to a legal dispute with their existing premises. The message goes on to say that they are NOT closing down and all customer property is in safe storage. Further more they will contact customers when they have relocated. Anyone wanting to hear the message should call 01621 858856. Just thought you'd like to know. This has been a Nissan Public Service announcement, brought to you by....me! Jonno.

Hi all, well after getting the car back from Samurai, I can honestly say they have done a fantastic job on my Zed, the resprayed front end and mesh they put on has made it look like a brand new car, I can't believe the difference it's made! If I was getting looks before, it's even worse now lol I can't stop drooling over it either :hyper: They did the whole job for £150 and even put some oil in and general tinkering while I was there for no extra. Nice bunch of blokes there, and all I can say is whatever problems they may have had in the past they are definately making an effort to make a name for themselves, I for one am extremely happy with the bodywork they have…

after reading couple of posts/thread/replies decided im gunna get the apexi avcr boost controller, as some of you have owned this and been happy with it. :) apparently though there has been a problem with some units (something to do with the "processor") that were made in the last 1-2months, so apexi have made a recall on them. dont know if this is of interest or help to anyone but just thought id let you know! (dont go buying any "bargain second hand units" if they only month or so old they mite be dodgy............i almost did, glad i found this out just in time!). im still gunna get this unit but it looks like there will be a couple of weeks wait. :(

Just had a shiney new Blue Flame exhaust fitted today  I bought it from their ebay ad for £350  (+£15 P&P) and my local garage fitted it for £60. Top piece of kit - mechanic was also very impressed with the quality and fit  It looks pretty cool - 4 large chromed tails and sounds good too. Not too loud, just a lower deeper rumble. All in all I'm pretty pleased with it  Richard

What we really need is a list of insurers with a summary of what they will and won't cover. There's nothing more frustrating than spending 20mins holding or describing your details only to learn that they won't quote for an import, or a modified car, or a classic that isn't in a garage, or a classic that isn't a seciond car!!!!!! Is there an INDEPENDENT broker out there who can search through all the affiliated shites, I mean sites! to get me a proper deal!!!!

  17. So, anyone here apart from me quit recently? My grandfather died on by birthday (bummer) and I promised him the day before he died that I would quit. So I have. I ain't using patches or things but it has only been a week or so. Can anyone tell me what I have to look forward to ? One of my staff told me that you cough like buggery...then laughed. Guess I'm not too popular. Is it really that bad mid term? Just that I don't feel a huge loss so far  Help?

:rofl: Many Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney. The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is called "Mate Match". The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant answers "yes", he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions. The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner (with phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize. One particular game, however, several months ago made the City of Big Shoulders drop to its knees with laughter and is …

This one for all the IT people out there.... I'm working on a project upgrading laptops and PC's We're using Altiris to push out the images and software apps We have to create the PC/laptop in Altiris first, and I have found the way to do that as a batch when you have more than a few to do We have also for some reason got to Pre-Stage (create) the PC's/laptops into the correct OU within AD (This is the only way to do it, on the last upgrade we did, we used SYSPREP to add the PC to the domain, then move it to the correct OU - Not allowed to mess about with it that much this time round!) I have found a command called DSADD, which will allow you to…
