I have just been round to the local post office with my girlfriend. The post office is part of a parade of shops, with a small line of parking spaces (maybe 20 or 30). There were several cars parked there including an old Maestro. 4 Youths, none of them old enough to drive, were standing around the car, trying the door handles and they eventually managed to get into the passenger side. Everyone must have a favourite stretch of road they love to have a blast on. Mine has always been the on the A38 between Plymouth and Trerulefoot in Cornwall for those of you who know it. Think I've found a new favourite now though. Just spent the last week driving round the Rocky mountains and the Icefield parkway is just breathtaking! 400km of amazing roads! Went out today for a spin. With all this talk lately about racing and fast ZEDs and Mac videoing the FZR1000 against the Beast I was in the mood for a burn up. I challenged a few cars that looked fairly sporty but none bit the bullet. Eventually though I found myself sitting at a set of lights revving up against a well kitted Ford Fiesta. Chris asked me to put a message up that he isnt about. One of his juniors has made it onto the ITF Junior tour and is traveling with him untill school starts in September. He has had the occasional stop over back here but left early today to go to St Peterburg and then to Sturgart. He just said he will try and pop in if there is a computer at the hotels. Basicaly he's a nerd and I cant beleive of all the things he could of asked me to do this was the 1st thing. What is it with you men and these cars. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and he was telling me that he has an account with a local petrol station and for the last few months there have been 2 new zafira's that filled up every single day and had was sounded like polish people in them.
