General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I would like to get the network between my two pc's running but not sure how to do it. I have an adsl modem/router which both pc's are connected to and both will be running a clean install of win2k pro. Can someone explain the easiest way to get them to comm with each other so I can swap files etc between the two, I have quite a good knowledge of pc's but networks baffle me a bit! At the moment both are online through the router but they can't comm with each other so any help will be much appreciated. Chris.

Do you still have them bits you need shifting? I'm off to Grimsby on saturday and could swoop by to pick them up, get them out of your way, I would hate to see them go to waste ;) (I'm obviously not worthy of PM's yet :rofl: )

i got a phone call from Ryan at ZTech saying my car was ready to be picked up...going down by train on Friday morning to pick up the beasty and have a nice steady drive back to morecambe enjoying every minute of the vibration free , rock steady sorted handling tied down back end , free reving run ..... big thanks to ZTech for the hard graft sorting out my zed , i will post my opinion on the difference the lightened RPS flywheel and unorthadox pulley kit and uprated clutch have made ..watch this space guys and girls :hyper: :hyper:

Sorry to bring the jap/uk subject up again but I was wondering: 1/. On my Jap zed when I flash High beam on the low beam goes off which on most other cars doesn't happen is this the same on both UK and Jap? 2/. On my Jap zed if I turn the spot lights on the rear fog lamps come on with the same switch is this the same on UK spec as Jap? Thanks chaps (in advance) :bow:

I saw these and just couldn't resist. Sorry about the 5hite picture but my (6 Mega pixel battery eating bastrd camera) has drained my last 4 duracells. The chrome letters are £1.50 each and the little dragon was £5.99. So less than £25 and IMO they look great. A professional touch?

ive done the basics ie run spybot/virus scanner etc and they come back fine. done all the "rearange things on your hard disk to make computer run faster and free up space on hard disk" and it still seems to run very slow? :confused: any one got any advice? and by the way im not that hot on a pc so bear with me :o thanks in advance, gaz! I want to extend my wireless network, I have two D-Link access points, one Dl-624+ (54Mb) and one Dl-540 (11Mb), is there any way I could make the Dl-540 work as an "extender" without any wires between them? I have sent several e-mails to the D-Link support, but the still haven't replied even though it's several months since I sent them. I know there are specific devices for this, but if I could set up the 11Mb one to work as one I would save about 100€ :) Ken

as you know my car was nicked. youd think the police would be interested in nearly a grand of dodgy cash, a stolen car, and theft by deception. but ohhhh nooo, 3 days later, and loads of phone calls from me to them they havent even been round to my house. ive just given them grief down the phone and asked for an update, by which i was told, errrmmmm nothing really. ****ing hell they wonder why people hate them. my cars probably in bits now and with the info ive given them and with their ability (allegedly) to check out this information i could have found the bastard myself.
