General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Anyone interested in a club trophy? I started a post on "Heavy Tailgate", i know its been brought up a few times before but later in the threads and just for a laugh i suggested that you all send me your weights out of the tailgate and i'll have them melted down and made into some kind of club trophy for meets. Could be for best car, fastest car etc. Your thoughts please...recycling and all that. If you're interested let me know what the trophy should be awarded for.

How about a photo competition between now and christmas for a years membership (for subscribed members) . Very simple just take a pic of your zed in unusual or funny circumstances. No photoshop or pro's, and only taken between now and Dec. 25'th. Surely one of the club administrators can give their verdict around that time? Just for a bit of craic??

And anyone else who has done it for the advice and tips .Started yesterday, nearly finished. I used cream leatherette which is thick and quite hard to cut when trimming around the doors, so i'm going to get some help tomorrow . one of the most worthwhile jobs i've ever taken on in the zed. Nice having a new car smell too :hyper:

Went into my local Tyrespot dealers last Tuesday to repair puncture to my NSR tyre. Kid sorting it out for me, damaged the outer rim of the wheel when removing the trye. I actually saw him do it, as my words to him were "You haven't, have you?". Manager came out and said "OK, we'll repair you puncture for nowt". A few year ago, I would probably have said "OK, fair enough" but fook that. I said "sorry mate, that's no good to me. I want my wheel repairing". Trouble was, the wheel had been curbed twice already :headvswal by yours truly and was about twenty times worse than the damage done by them. Doin a little above 69mph ;) on a dual carrigeway and hit a fox.... even if i was doing 20mph I wouldnt have stopped in time :nono: Its fooked the front bumper and ripped of the undertray... BUT... Worst of all its fooked two of my Neons :eek: :cry: I think if Id of been going slower more damage may of occured as the speed I hit it I think it just anialated the fox :) I was expecting to get out and see him collected in the intercooler duct but no...he must of been splayed into several pieces :rolleyes: Disclaimer...for all animal lovers of which i am one I did not intend on causing harm to any litttle four legged friends but sh1t happens :( ) It…
