ok as previously posted the zed doesn't seem too fast. Now tonight i though lets do a 0-60 run now the car a is a uk auto TT the time was around 9 seconds. The only probs that i know about are it needs a new shock absorber on the back near side. Anyone got a clue why its so slow?? I tried the car with overdrive on and off and the times were very similar. if anyone lives in or around sunderland and could show me how fast there zeds are i'd appreciate it

After teaching myself how to spray well using cans, I thought I'd best progress onto using a spray gun and spraying properly. Now, I've not used 2k here, but acrylic, better than crappy cellulose, but not as good as 2k. Anyway, only really practicing. I've had this old tailgate from a Cavalier lying around that I was going to put on my old one before I sold it. Anyway, since I'm friends with the new owner, I said I'd spray and fit the new one. Ok having a debate with my mate at the moment. Recons his totaly standard M3 will out handle the Zed. I've blasted one in a strait line before but never met one on the twisty stuff(He's just Pi55ed cause I hosed him up Glenshee in my Integrale) Anyone had a handling duel with an M3 ????? Firstly I apologise if this is the wrong place for this but it seems the most appropriate. So I'm totally new to this idea of buying a 300zx, up until a week ago I wasn't even considering it. I've loved 300zx's since I first clapped my eyes on them many, many years ago but until the recent apparent massive drop in price I never considered the idea of owning one. (and until the wife said "they look nice") If I *were* to take the plunge I'd be looking at an NA manual for around £3-3.5k, what I need from you people is to tell me the truth, tell me how expensive they are to run, how completely impractical they are and how you wish you owned a simple runabout. From the front of an FTO you can see the resemblence to an Aston Martin. I did spot something just a short while ago at home....sifting thru my Jezza Clarkson vids I saw a pic on the case of a Bugatti EB110....looks similar to the Z from the front. well the boys didnt take too long to get the car into bits - the pictures were taken the day after i dropped the Z off. problems so far: the door and both wings are full of filler so the paint wont sit 100% but will be generally unnoticeable, front bumper needs bit of extra work to fit (but i DID get it damn cheap), front fogs/indicators wont fit straight away and bumper will need modifying slightly. other than that no problems (he says). need some suggestions regarding the front number plate, do I (cant be arsed to do a poll): A) Flat plate along top of front bumper B) Flat plate hanging over centre of bumper C) Square plate hanging over centre of bumper …

This is getting serious I'm trying to get a reasonble quote on my imported 93 twin turbo but I'm having minimal luck. I'm 27 have 8 years no claims live in East London and the car has the basic mods...exhaust, air filter, dump valves etc. The car is not garaged so I don't think i can get classic car insurance! As many of you guys know i been looking for anther z for ages, prefferably one that i aint going to want spend thousands on within weeks of getting one "if such a car exists". After searching in vain i am now getting to thinking maybee i should hold fire until spring next year as winter is coming fast. What doesnt help is that i have been thinking of upgrading my stereo again! in the house, BUT the setup i am thinking of buying is going to cost roughy 4500 quid. SO i cant have both so should it be Z or new sound sytem, decisions decisions :headvswal
