General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I have 19' wheels on my zed and tyres are silly money as you can imagine. I have always ran on toyos but I need tyres bad and with christmas etc dont have £400 I need for them. I was getting tyres for the co car today from one of my clients and he can do me Falkin tyres (the model below the top spec) for £130 per tyre fitted. Size are 19' 265 30s. Anyone ran these and know what there like! They seem to get a decent right up! Seemed cheap though!

It passed!!! :bow: tester said it was the bestist 300ZX he's ever seen ;) also said blue ones are far more likely to pass 1st time - much better than those red ones :D on a more serious note, this is the 1st MOT iv done on a zed since we become computerised (for MOT's - all stations will). & on the test sheet that gets printed out it now states that these cars are NON cat test!

Was on my way home tonight and a 350Z was following me for a bit, got to a double lane road with him next to me and tried baiting him but he wouldnt bite (must have seen THAT episode of Top Gear). So just driving along and ended up behind him cos there was a van parked in the middle of my lane unloading things. I'm casually following the 350 (me on the inside lane, him on the outside) and a Golf V5 4Motion blasts past me and is driving up the arse of the 350. 350 pulls in and as the golf begins to pass the 350 driver guns it (how do i know? cos i saw him lose traction as the back end twitched). :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal ok, was driving to work this morning and just starting to turn out on to a roundabout (turning straight left into next road) and my engine cuts out so of course the steering got very heavy and i was doing like 20. not happy!!! :rant: Anyone know what might cause an auto zed to cut out like this?? :confused:

My car was taken from Ipswich to Ztech today on the back of a trailer being pulled by a Sierra XR 4X4, anyone see it on the A12 or M25? Had a nightmare getting it on, had about a cm each side of the wheels to the side of the trailer and car just wheel spun as I tried to get it up the ramp. Next time I see the car it will have a lovely rebuilt gearbox and I will be another couple of grand poorer, still I am use to that. Have already started collecting a few goodies to fit when she returns. :D
