hi, would anyone want to swap a 300 tt for a highly modified n/a mr2? it a 91,black ,full boarder an bomex kit, deepdish 17s (very shinny) big brakes, good clean body, hks cams, air filter,full de-cat s/s ad timing and fueling. full leather with suade centers. 10 months mot tax,65000 miles. its got around 180/190 hp was timed at 6.6 to 60. think thats it.....

I think it was Richard Hammond on Top Gear who said about the zed something like '..it's a great big wobbly thing to move fat americans' or something like that. ive finally got my car sorted after pestering my wife for three years,its had veilside c2 skirts and rear apron(already had the c1 bumper) gemini flip respray and cream leather retrim with embroided 'z' logo,ive de spoilered it and de rear wipered it :hyper: :hyper: i got it back last tuesday after two and half weeks, trouble is summers gone, crappy weathers here, so its gonna be in my garage for another 4 months :headvswal sorry for this post but i had to tell someone who might apreciate it :bow: :bow: Cheers Si

hi , i really want to buy a 300 tt and am saving all my money. been looking at 200sx,scoob(but scoobs look slow!) r33 gts but over a grand more to insure then a 300 tt and a mr2 turbo again. wanted something bigger than a mr2 tho. every one keeps saying they break and cost thousands if something goes wrong+engine having to come out all the time. but every time i think i wont get one cos of what ppl say i see a 300z go past and hear that nice engine noise and alway think that is car car i really want!! will i be ok if i get a tt and look after it and service right? service it so turbos and stuff dont go and last as long as they can? i want one…

That i'm back in the garage!-done a fair bit today, made alternator brackets and fitted that, made p/steering pump brackets, wired in alt and starter-she now turns on the key! Also cut slam panel and now the Koyo fits :D -got to make brackets to hold that tomorrow, wired in ignition feed and tacho and fitted a leather gaiter to the gear stick!(cheers Boldy!) BUT!-I left my camera at work so you will have to take my word for it! :headvswal :D

lads im looking for a 4wd which is quite good on juice and medium size,just wondering if some of you have these motors and what type of mpg your getting :bow:

Have a look at what a cambelt look`s like when it breaks at motorway speeds, very basically the belt was way past its due date as the last picture shows and was going to go at any moment. Now your thinking valves and pistons etc arn`t you? well this guy must have had a lucky day because despite what you see there was NO DAMAGE! a new belt, pump, pulleys, stat etc and a perfectly running engine, all compressions well within spec, now I call that lucky. Why on parkers web site does it say that a 300zx turbo only has 220bhp :confused: Was there a model that was only 220 bhp in the uk?

As some will know I was aselling my bike? I placed it on Ebay and with only one day left out of the seven the t055ers removed it for spamming. That threw a spanner in the works I had 19 bids up to my asking £1500 and 37 watchers. Anyway I relisted it for one day to allow the former bidders to rebid. Not a chance. They may have seen me as a bit dodgy or something? But I was going to put it on yet again and after spending an hour rewriting my advert Ebay went Kerput! and all was lost. I am taking this as an omen and am going to keep the bike now. Some things are better not ignored in this world....................... :x:

Does anyone know if its possible to modify the doors so they open via a button under the wing mirror on a 300zx? ive only seen this on tvr's and on 1 punto. Anyone know of any companies that do it? The picture below shows the button on the wing mirror of a punto.

I put a thread in the old gen discussion forum by mistake.. but i have a early 80's honda xl and am desperate to locate a headlight switch/cut off switch. it has 6 wires going into this one switch.. most now are only 5. it is a 6 volt system and I have tryed everywhere and cant locate one.. So please.... if any members have one kicking around in a shed or even a complete bike let me know. pic of mind enclosed.... thanks you.. oh yeah.. if you do have it.. you will still get a finders fee or if you can locate one i can buy.. again you will get a finders fee/ reward.. thanks..
