What a day ive had today. Woke up this morning to find my garage door had been bust open. Someone must of had some big plans for the zx as they werent going for my tools as they are all(except for my crowbar) still there. Nothing has been touched at all. Lucky for me that ive started putting both cars in the garage so i dont have to defrost it early mornings and the upshot of that is that it means parking up withing 2inches of the z so no-one can get into it. So today ive gone out and got a brand new full alarm system and got it all fitted. New sensors, motion detectors, microphone, night vision camera with 2way communication and recording equipment, twin alarm sir…

following on from my kindle hd fire thread i decided to get shell the nexus 7, read a lot of bad things about the kindle going off and using it in the shop it just didnt feel very smooth compared to the nexus shells came today and ive had a bit of a play, its wifi enabled and quite quick, it uses the android platform so i found it very easy to use as i have an android phone, it comes with the latest version of the android so no downloading any programmes later its HD as a lot of the top ones are, its not too heavy and not too flimsy, the kindle felt plasticy lol, also on the back of the nexus it has a like ribbed effect back which helps to hold it, it doesnt sli…

I spotted this on another forum Team Extreme's R35 in development for drag racing in 2013. Not subtle is it? A tube chassis carbon bodied R35 GTR with a pretty monstrous engine! Engine power has been quoted as between 1700 and 2500bhp and needless to say it will cause a right stir amongst the top cars of its class next year when it comes out.

At my work there is a lift for the disabled which is new but barely used. Tonight as I passed it I noticed all the lights inside were on and the three buttons were flashing that you push to each floor; well I stupidly decided I would investigate and I pushed the outer button and the lift unlocked so I opened the door - no sooner than I noticed the lift was infact broken down the lift door closed and locked behind me. Phone in hand I called our main office and explain what happened and to get some help. Then I explained through a pain of glass that they need to go get the spare lift keys to reset it and also try find the spare outer door key as I had…

Well whilst I write this sipping my morning tea , the Algarve sun blazing down on my face, I cannot help but wonder what the hell happened yesterday as we witnessed first hand the wrath of mother nature at her worst. .........a tornado and boy was we lucky! The down town area effected was just 20km from where we are but the effects were just as scarey, day became night like, constant fork lightning and rain like nothing you have seen before, and the wind was incredible. Click here http://news.sky.com/story/1012619/tornado-hits-portugals-algarve-eight-hurt No sign in the sky now, just sun and peace .... just weird. Jeff TT

The wife has just arrived home to tell me she has just been stopped doing 52mph in a 30mph limit. The officer was on a motorcycle and had given her a stern talking to that had brought her to tears. The next comment was that she must not do this again and if he had not reached his "Quota" already this week then she would have been in serious trouble. Is it that she's a woman or do the police have a quota of say 10 speeders a day, or 20 offences a week to catch ??????? If it was me I'm sure it would be crush the car and lock him away for the year, 52mph in a 30mph area, she is a disgrace :glare::glare::glare:

Quick story of what just happend. Whilst being on here, realise i need some bread for my lunch tomorrow, get in car and drive to local shop. Get bread, get stella ,im behind some woman, im looking at the lottery scratch card display. Woman in front, pays for her stuff and asks for a number 6 scratch card, pays for her stuff and moves to the side, i pay for bread and stella and also ask for a no 6 card. i scratch mine off at the till, unaware that the woman is doing the same £25 winner, i say to the staff "good stuff, £25, that will do" then i hear the woman to my right "om my god, ive got £1000." i get my cash and am well chuffed, and yep she has won £1000, i w…
