For those with increased boost/modified engines, and those that simply rely on it for their Import zeds there have been reports of a major shortage of Optimax in the uk over the past few days. Shell has this to say in reply :

Well, unfortunatly the worst happened this morning, my dads condition deteriorated rapidly, he suffered a major stroke, his heart condition worsened and at about noon i'd say, he passed away :( I couldnt have asked for a better father, he was a real inspiration to me.. Rest in peace dad... I'll take good care of things, especially the zed... Sorry to bring a sorrow mood to the forum but I just feel the need to vent somewhere...

Well there i was today, pootling along the Autobarne with my family coming from Dussldorf and there it was.................................i looked in my rear view mirror and in the inside lane i saw the awsome sight of a blue GT Ford blasting up the banny :eek: i was sitting at around 85mph and this car flew past with indicators blearing to move everyone out of the way. By far the fastest car ive seen over here since being posted in Germany. Ok, you see the Porsches etc... but they just cruise along. This was like a bat out of hell FFS. What is the top speed of these beasts? What a car :hyper: :hyper:

I joined this site to learn more about Zeds and I have, for which I thank you all. But I think I have worked out that actually I can't afford to run one I'm not bothered about the petrol, insurance or tyres etc but everyone just seems to be plowing thousands into there cars each year keeping them going and I realistically can't do that. I am heartbroken at this as I love the car and really fancied a TT but I am still toying of going down the NA route What do you guys think?

Just like to say thanks to the peeps on here who consistently give time, advice,links and help. Legrath, greg, Chunk, Chris......there are lots more. I was in Zed wilderness for 4 years! Both technical and non/tech it's still a great site ;)

as its nearing the end of another year,what was the best film youve seen......up untill last night mine was sin city.......then i saw cinderella man,its about a boxer from the 1920's/30's called james braddock.....defo a 10/10.........WATCH IT... :D

Now, I hate xmas food as well as xmas, so I doubt I'll be one of these chaps that puts on a stone over chrimbo, but my gym shuts for nearly 2 weeks. Am I gonna be the only person who'll end up going out for a run on Xmas morning?

Right, so I'm planning on taking my car to a place in Plymouth who specialise in pearl paints to redo the tailgate and rear bumper. Now, I've always disliked that awful 'school chair' finish on the bumpers. so as well as having the rear bumper resprayed, I am going to get this finish totally smoothed off. Also want to get the bottom of the front bumper smoothed of this finish too and sprayed. Has anyone done this? The bumpers are pretty thick, so sanding the finish off is not an issue, I'd just like to see a car with them done...standard bumpers I mean. Rear especially. Ta

i only ask caus i got hit up the exhaust tonight in the wifes beamer !!! I had stopped dead but the bloke still managed to shunt the car about a foot and i was hard on the brakes when he hit me !!! I feel ok but my neck did whip quite bad i have a small pinpoint pain just on me neck top of shoulders but i dont think its anything. Does it manifest the next day or would i feel it right away ?? All i can say is thank fook it wasnt the zed i,d be screaming by now !! :confused: :(
