Why are parts and after market bits so fookin expensive?? I believe that now people are paying so little for these magnificent sports cars, that all the suppliers off after market/ OEM parts and body kit should decrease prices to reflect the cost of the car it's self. For e.g you pay more for a nice coil over suspension set up than you do for the Z it's self on Ebay. Rant over. :rant: :rant: :rant:

I have hit 504.8 bhp then I changed the gap in the spark plug and the car has just made a 60bhp increase so I am now 564.8bhp do you think this is at all possible?

Just been reading a magazine and in there was a clip from DVLA are proposing, All Pre 1998 cars that have been radically modded will require a single vehicle approval test (SVA), What is SVA you ask? Think of it as like an MOT only much more severe, the cost of the test is £150 and many existing vehicles like kit cars all ready have to do this and oftern fail, if you want to know more go to http://www.dvla.org.uk/public/consult/summary_inspection_procedures.htm For example just lowing your ride hight could mean your car needs and SVA. I fooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was what to do with the guage side of things-only really the speedo and tach that's not 100%-but really wanted to keep the dash stock to fit my indiglows!-bugger! :headvswal So I saw this and thought, go aftermarket and programmable speedo/tach-problem solved!-but not stock :o Then I'm thinking,if I can't keep it stock,go totally different, like the stack set-up! but to be honest, I think they look fookin' horrible! came across this today and I likey alot-all senders/sensors included and totally programmable! :hyper: all for around the price of aftermarket guages :eek: only prob is it's in America!-think I'll give em' a ring tho' :D

as per title, its actually the chitty chitty bang bang car we have the contract for the sunderland empire (plumbing and heating) and was called there the other day to sort out some blocked drains, and there it was in all its shiney and expensive glory its on a big platform that raises it in the air and moves it about, and apperently its the original from the movie (although im not too sure) but its still insured for about three million according to the empire's directors whats the most exspensive car that you have seen p.s they wouldnt let me anywhere near touching distance lol

What do you remember growing up listening too? What did your Parents have in the vinyl collection? My old man was well into Slade, The Stones and not going without saying...The Beatles...sure there was some Edith Piaf in there somewhere aswell. Also the Seekers and lest we forget...das Simone and Garfunkelest genius! Remember me old man driving us around in his Capri 1.6 GT with a matt black vinyl roof blaring out the Elton John early stuff aswell...them were the days! LOL :D

have you guys ever missed owning a car SO much u went and brought another? thinking about selling the 306TD i have and buying and building a totally stripped out 2.0 16v Turbo nova just really miss getting my hands dirty with engines :( i love the Zed but its abit over my head at the mo the engine side of things (i am learning though :) thinking about keeping the Zed (of course) selling the 306 and buying a decent nova shell and starting from scratch. Just need a project that i can do 100% myself, which with the Zed i cant do

I need an estate car guys, not getting shot of the Z or the MR but I need something to cart the baby around and possibly the Rotties aswell. My Bro recently bought a pukka Volvo T-5 and it's a stunning bit of kit TBH. But I can't quite afford to spend that much. So I have looked at all sorts of cars, Seat Leon Cupra R's ( Sh1te apparently ) also looked at the Range Rover 4.6 HSE as I've had loads of old school Range Rovers but when I checked up on them they are worse for build quality than the old classic Range Rovers so they are well off the list. I still fancy I a Hi-Lux Surf but a 3.0 litre jobby but I know that I will get well phooked off with the slugg…

i know i need the bits but how easy is it to actually do the bypass??? Yes i cant afford to fix it at the moment
