General Discussions - Non 300ZX

i dont know if any of you guys have suffered this problem...i have what i think is a sticky brake caliper. braking is very poor and as such car is off the road for a bit. does anyone know how expensive this will be to fix? am i going to have to go direct to nissan dealer to get the kit to release the pistons in the calipers? i guess they will charge around the £50 an hr :( any help or suggestions would be greatly appriciated also..my pads are getting worn so is it worth replacing them at the same time to save two trips to car docs? so what pads are best? im thinking red stuff but if any others are better?? cheers guys!!

Hi, Whats any good for cleaning up leather seats ? Couple of scuff marks and the scuff`s have gone a kinda creamy colour. :( Seats look really dull as well. Cheers in advance lads. Alan.......

ok im getting a service next month a 60k one and upgrade my brakes after bout a month or 3 im looking to spend 2 grand before summer. what can i do i already have air filter and exhuast and gauges. getting a chip with the service.

Well I have a 1990 Jap Twin Turbo auto, that needs a new water pump and turbo fitted. Can anyone advise on how difficult a job this is to do?? Also rough guide what a mechanic should charge to do it as I have the parts ok?? Would this be a possible DIY job? I'm condesedering breaking the car if my mechanic is talking big £££££££££!!!!!

Hi. Just thought I would ask you guys if my washing machine is beyond repair or not. Astrassuck is aware of the problem but had no input. Basically a week ago i got up and the washer had been put on for overnight but all the lights were flashing and the display said E1 :confused: . Anyway we got past that but every time the drum starts to spin there is a noise like I have left a lighter or something in the drum. But there isn't anything in the drum so I can only assume it is something to do with the things that make it work. It is still turning and everything at the moment. :D Not to every ones taste but I have allways liked them, been driving it a month now and just got round to cleaning it, not looking to mod it like the 300 just want a reliable fast car that I can enjoy. I decided to torture myself today and fit my lurvly 99 spec lights (many thanks Smithy,) i knew it wasnt a straight out swop caus there is a little bit of extra wiring in the light harness from various extras !! Now the one thing i dread is having to use force wiv me pride and joy so no surprises when i had to JAM a screwdriver between the light and the bodywork to get the mastic to break !! luckily no damage done so i was chuffed. The only thing extra i had to do was cut the indicator bulb holder off the supplied new and wire into my old harness (because of above reason) but jobs a good un and the pics are here !! :D :D :D And i still havent driven my car since Tatsu m…
