The good old days ! When JAE was still on and we used to be regular attendees. This picture was taken in 2010 just after our AGM and all the awards were based on members zeds and votes.

Hi , Looking to go and see an 2017 Audi A3 tomorrow with the view to purchase. Just wondering if any of our members could do an HPI check on it for me and send me the results ? I've done the usual free checks but the DVLA reports the car as Black but the pictures of it are clearly white. Just trying to figure out if the DVLA is wrong on the colour or has it had a hidden respray the garage isn't declaring.

Planning on cleaning my unit for an hour and work on my engine then Irvine Car Cruise turned up at my door. 😅 Tempted to push the zed out and show everyone up but at the same time I don't want all these Scottish neds know where my zed is kept. Think I'll just lock myself inside for the night and work on the zed.

I had a little spontaneous road trip over the weekend down to brands hatch. 2 days camping and over 952 miles covered in getting to and from the event as i stay in Troon. Thanks to my best man for the opportunity and the VIP treatment hosted by the Vertu Race Team. All in it was a great experience.

Hi all, I've now picked up the Z32 and had a very enjoyable drive back home. A much more comfortable experience than the drive up in my 370! No big rush as it had a good clean before I picked it up, but just looking for any recommendations on products that you all enjoy. I've seen some very shiny Zeds during my scrolling on the forums and I'm hoping to get mine looking just as good

Hi Guys I saw a demo of this "spray on" chemical and didn't know what to make of it. The product was sprayed onto half a number plate. A photo was taken by a digital compact camera with flash. The result was that the half of the plate sprayed, was unreadable owing to dazzle caused by the reflective properties of the chemical. The other half was readable. Has anyone had any experience of this stuff? http://www.safeplate.net/ If it does actually work, would your rear number plate light up like a Christmas tree at night by a following car's headlamps and thus arouse suspision? Cheers Jon

Our blue Evoque was coming up to 10 years and 72k miles old, so after a £600 bill from LR to replace one of the emissions sensors, I started browsing Land Rover Approved Used online...... .....And ended up buying this! 32k miles, 2 year Land Rover warranty, and this time I will be sure to do the half day LR driving experience😉 Plus it's the D240, so with its 240bhp it's pretty quick - 0-62 in just over 7 and 140mph tops😁Needless to say, Julia is pretty happy with it! We've had it three weeks now, and yesterday I finally got to give it a proper clean and a coat of Chemical Guys Jet Seal.

I have always been a big fan of Chemical Guys products - after our former forum valeter, Peach, recommended Jet Seal. So much so, it's still my go-to paint sealant today. I always give the cars an annual coat or two in the spring - and then lay a wax over the top. Well, I tried their Blazing Banana spray wax a few weeks ago - and I'm pleased to say, it is also brilliant. It's not a proper long lasting wax, by any means - but more of a top-up after washing, or as a last-step-protection product. I think this is definitely better than Auto Finesse Glisten, my previous post-wash spray. I have no pics of my Zed after using it (yet), but here's the daily driver. These…

Hey folks, With the 2024 season testing underway - and Lewis Hamilton having switched to Ferrari - it could be an interesting season... Hence I thought about resurrecting the old F1 competition. This is the first complete thread on the old competition I could find - JaiKai might be able to assist with digging up the old rule book, if not, I'll try and recreate it LOL But if we can get a few members involved, it's just a bit of fun - and we'll still have a small prize at the end. Winner takes all, a Halfords GV up for grabs - the value to be determined by the number of participants..... What do you say..... Interested?

Hi folks, I know we have a few IT techies here, so I have a question about internet speed. My internet has been fine for many years with BT, circa 30Mbps download speed, which is probably the best I can get in my area. However recently I have been struggling to access this forum via the web on my laptop. I had BT on the phone yesterday, we reset my hub many times, and each time, it cured the problem, but only for about 10 minutes. We both put the issue down to the hub and BT is sending me a new one tomorrow..... But, what if the issue is my laptop and not the hub? Seems I still get 30 meg when I do the speed test on my iPhone (when connected to my wifi). Bu…

Who'd have thought these things could be so desirable? I had amassed quite a collection of mail dealership keyrings over the years, with all the cars I have purchased. So rather than throw them away, I put them on Ebay - and so far nearly all have gone - for anywhere between £2 and £8..! I reckon I've made over £30 profit this last two weeks - result 🙂

The other evening, some daft twunt managed to hit my Z4.... It was parked in my office parking space - this idiot was being chased by the police and managed to scrape the near side front end, when he pulled over😪 The police didn't do much, they just made him leave a note - which the driver then removed after the police left the scene. He even had the balls to return and try to polish out the damage he caused!!! Luckily I have CCTV at work, so I captured the whole thing on camera. And a very helpful witness saw it happen, he waited for me to come out of work to tell me - otherwise I might have driven home without realising. The idiot who hit my car had a cha…
