Hi, My name is Gerry and I've just bought Leigh_L 's old car (nice motor, thanks Leigh). I only recently managed to crawl over the threshold of a half a century and decided that it was time to get back into Z's (Oh aside from the fact that my supra needed too much work to keep it on the road...lol). this is my fourth Z but my first 300, I owned 2 240's and one 260 back in OZ. cheers.

Hi guys, New to the forum, but i'm thinking about buying a TT for my next car. I've owner a few jap cars, few mr2 turbos, 3000gt etc, but now want something different. I loved the 3000gt, but i really want another rwd, so the 300 seems to be the way to go! I'm assuming that it'll probably be the same kind of speed as the mr2 turbo i have currently which is fairly standard? Well hopefully i'll have one soon but need to shift my current car first really! Anyway, I'm andy, 27, live in Horsham down south, hi!

Hi all, Names Alex, Im 21, From Bristol and kinda deal in Jap motors from home (on and off):rolleyes: Im looking to get a 300 as its kinda my dream car and now I can finally afford the insurance (£1800 on a turbo) Well not so much afford but at least they will give me a quote now! **EDITED** I would also take a non turbo but its gotta be modified. Hi, looks like a mentle place ive just brought a Fairlady 300ZX,got a few problums atliitle bit of rust but nothing to seveer,sure itill buff out:rofl:. Just need to get the engine tuned and the gearbox running properly and ill have a sound motor,this looks like a good place to get all the information i need.

Hi there my name is Chris and my handle is Chrispy, i've recently purchased myself a 1990 G reg 300 which has a few issues but nothing major. My cars plate is G72 EMO and is anyone has had any dealings with it before can you please tell me a little about it.

Just want to say hi , i bought a 92 2+2 tt black with 80 k bearings were gone , rod had gone on no 6 rebuild with oversize bearings and gaskets and new oil pump so far the site has been a great help will not sell this car if i ever get it running well

Just another newbie new on the 300zx scene and wanted to say hi to everyone there Had mine since August. 08 , the plenum is off at the moment being chromed, and just doing water bypass and titivated the intake & exhaust cam covers . While off am getting money together for INJECTORS /fuel rail CHIPPED ECU etc , cheers all ,Phil.

Im looking at possibly buying this motor, does anyone know anything about the car? is it a members on here? Erm, what are the major faults? Its a none turbo.

Hi, I bought my first ZXTT (Auto) a few weeks ago and I love it. It is running very well, boosting as it should and driving faultlessly with the exception of a slightly strange idle. The car idles fine for exactly 11 seconds, then the revs drop to about 500rpm for 4 seconds then go back up to about 800rpm for the next 11 seconds. Yes you really can set your watch by it! Any ideas anyone? (I have already adjusted the TPS so it is putting out the correct voltage and cleaned the Throttle Bodies which has made a slight difference) Thanks in anticipation..

Woop!!!! Just bought this off a nice chap from round Midsomer Norton way, a nice white 1992 uk spec: (photos from a facebook album, not sure if they hot link ok) It does have an intermittant high idle and a small patch of rust on the inner rear wheel arch drivers side, right at the bottom of the skirting. Hope to get these rectified once I've sold my Calibra (that I've had for 5 years and shall sorely miss). Fun times ahead!

Hi there, I currently own a Toyota starlet glanza v, And I've always been a fan of the z32... I'm now seriously considering a z32 non turbo, my main concern however is fuel usage, as I only have to space for one car and do quite a few miles a week. What kind of mpg can I expect from a n/a? ( I now it's a big motor and wont be amazing, but it's gotta be better than the n/a supra I was previously considering, @ 18mpg!) many thanks!

hi im nicci and me and my hubby richie have just purchased our 1st 300zx, truthly its his car but if i have my way it'll soon be mine lol we've only had the car 24 hours and im in love and im constantly checking out the window to see if its still there and ok.
