Hi! I acquired my 2 + 2 Auto NA with 17k miles. It was kept hidden in a garage under cover for most of its life in Arizona. Now it lives in Florida and she is free to run about!

Hey everyone, Hardly a newbie but have been inactive for so long figured this would be the best place to reengage. Really good see most of the old gang on here still promoting the Z32. Began doing a full top to bottom rebuild of my Fairlady last year. Motor stripped down and delivered to TDI with goal to produce a fast high reving NA with over 300bhp. You may have seen the social media updates from TDI of the VG30 with the orange block, that's me. Certainly not the most frugal option but I love my NA and plan on making it the best in the UK. Will be updating/replacing the full drive train, new wiring looms, window out paint job, you get the picture. Currently sharing a lo…

After about 10 years of my Z being a "project" I've decided I better get my finger out and start working on it again to make it roadworthy. I need to do the low cost/free things first. before I think about spending money on it. I will be needing to pick the brains of the people on here as I have forgotten so much about these cars.

Just wanted to drop a quick hello. Last week I bought a 1992 3.0 twin turbo 300zx and eagerly waiting for it to arrive all the way from Japan. Doesn't need much doing except driver's seat (changes to bucket). The rest is all stock. Any ideas where to source a seat? Seem pretty hard to come by. Ideally in Europe or Southern part of UK. (any pointers appreciated)

Hey all. After a break of I'm not sure how many years... I want another Z32! Mostly everything is on Facebook these days but you can't beat the old forum. Looking around I recognise a few members names still on here. So, anybody selling a manual LWB TT?

Hi guys, bought myself a Z32 not really knowing much about them. I remember being taken for a spin in a TT Auto back in '96 which left an impression, so when I was given the opportunity to buy one I obviously ignored all doubts running through my head and bought it. Anyway, this one has a club sticker in the window so I'm wondering if anyone has any info on it's past history or even if there's an owners thread on here? I've got a fair bit of bodywork to look at, currently it's about fifty shades of red. Has a vibration in the drive train, noisy valve of some sort from the back of the engine bay, pretty tired interior and several switches dotted around t…

Good evening guys, as the title says just acquired two 300zx as part of a deal, main one is a jdm import with low miles/km? 2nd one is a parts car primarily Cambelt is absent so assuming engine is knackered maybe? Main one requires rear outer sills repaired due to clumsy jacking.. Repair panel's or cut up the doner car, any advice?

Good evening all i signed up many many moons ago - andrew-c however can’t for the life of me remember my password or email address from back in 2008 ish so after many years and owning approx 50+ cars since last time I was online including 1 of 2 of my dream cars (rover 220 gsi turbo .. don’t ask) I decided now would be the right time to restart the hunt for the 2nd of my dream cars - yes a manual z32 tt ? however with me being fussy and know exactly how and what I want it to look like means project is the best way forward. I’ve been trawling through fb, gumtree, eBay frequently and thought I’d try the forums (bearing in mind I was partially surpri…

As title states, my 300zx spun a bearing. Its torque converter went out the same day so I need a new tranny AND it needs a new diff! I wish I was kidding as this does sound like a joke, but I'm not. I'm not from this country (U.S. guy here) so I don't have a good connection of people that are into cars like I had in The States. I live in the area of Huntingdon and I'm just wondering what I should do / where should I go to get my repairs done? To give some reference on how bad the problem is, when we cut the oil filter open, it looked like the whole bearing was trapped in there. Thankfully that meant the filter did an amazing job doing it's job, because we got hardly any m…

Good afternoon all, just joined and thought I would introduce myself, I have just purchased a 1992 jdm 2+2 manual twin turbo after having one around 15 years ago and have always regretted it. car is exactly the same spec pretty much apart from being a 1992 as opposed to a 1989. car looks really clean and just needs a slight tidy up with the aim to put back to totally original. anyway thought I would say hi

Hi there. Her name is Audrey. ? She have 113.000kms (~70500 miles). Left hand drive, manual ofc. It is mostly stock (just an aftermaket exhaust (i don't know the brand) and xenon headlights, as far as i know, huh). She has never slept outside, no rust anywhere. Servicing have been done at Nissan and at a Porsche garage, i have everything on paper but it is in dutch... That's about everything i know. Seller was not messing around, he was selling Veyron's and a lot of much more expensive luxury / sports cars in Holland. Made him change the driving belt, fuel pump & stuff anyway. 'Paid around 20k€ for the car so... I don't plan to build a monster with it, but y'know…

Hello everyone, let me start off by saying thank you for accepting me into this group. I'm Azzy, 30 years old and ive been building/restoring Japanese cars since the age of 10 years old. Was never really a silvia or skyline fan but for those that know me... know that i love complex and complicated cars! Always loved the look of a 300zx but only the SWB model (sorry lwb owners). But yes I went to a friends lock-up filled with various skylines and silvias 'Drift missiles' but in the corner of my eye this got my attention.... Its a SWB slicktop! wow! i never really liked the T-Bar, so i bought it with a huge job ahead of me... [url=https://postimg.cc/jWCz…

Hi everyone, I’ve finally got myself a Zed! Very happy with it, drove it 90 miles home and it didn’t miss a beat! It’s not immaculate and will need some bits but it runs nicely, drive great and has an MOT! ? I think I might do a member journal about it as I have some plans, nothing ground breaking, but I want to make sure this car is looked after. Currently on about 90k but 70k of that is KM. It didn’t come with any history so I’m doing it properly and taking it down to Jimmer for a full belts service and a good going over to see what I’ve actually bought!

Hi, I'm about to bid on a 300ZX which was imported from Japan a few years ago. The car is advertised as a completely original 1996 Twin Turbo but I'm a little suspicious as there is no boost pressure gauge on the speedo. The car does have the intercooler inlets on the lower front bumper and the VIN plate codes do suggest it's a turbo model. Has anyone else encountered a turbo model that doesn't have the boost pressure gauge though? My understanding is that it was standard fit in all sales markets. The car was converted from km to mls when it was imported and all I can think is that the dashboard was replaced at that time, with this glaring oversight not noticed. Stil…

New member just saying hello. 1990 2+2 TT Jap import bought a month ago, needs light restoration recommissioning, just working through rusty suspension. It seems it was a leaf connector so all rads, Intercoolers and condenser rotten, apart from that all seems solid and fired up first time. Intend to do 120k service even though only showing 96k km as not much history. The AC is puzzling me at the moment all UK stock seems to be discontinued, could get a condenser from US but not found much else, so would be interested to hear if any alternatives or UK suppliers Thanks Andrew
