Well got back from London yesterday thought nice weather got up this morning uncovered car took out of garage left run for a bit all excited even though I’ve no door cards convertible ready for a blast went to shell filled up with v power pulled out of garage and she stalled and wouldn’t start called AA as on phone to them looked at receipt I’d put £40 diesel v power couldn’t beleave how stupid I’d been so a bargain price of £199 to drain put I did get £10 petrol to get me on the way and also good job I knew what to do as guy didn’t have a clue on car now gone off idea of a blast til tomorrow so a expensive £250 round trip of two miles ! Bargain

No problem will give it a miss

I’m supposed to be coming haven’t time to troll through post what do I need to get tickets etc have do door cards at mo supposed to get them back this week hopefully I’ll get them fitted in time .

No doubt at some point I’ll have to go through this but roof all good at moment looks good though

It’s unfortunate that people have to find out about these traders but like my self very few garages will entertain these cars so you end up being burnt and the legal road is costly and in my case the trader has f all in assets and probably has many ccj’s .

Give them a call Lancaster has given me one on a classic policy it’s all about the questions they ask

Just check all spark plugs cas connections maf connections they are prone to corrosion

I have to be fair I only used z1 once poor service took ages to reply to questions I always to use czp and have for years .

You lol be suprized give it a good clean and you’ll have a better idea of the look

It ll take a few miles to burn off oil in system after all my experience it’s not positive knowing who did engine sound like mine turned out to be rings same garage did mine three times before the garage got mine done good luck do research before you use garages .

When I had window replace it was done by an old guy who’s been trimming all his life he took the whole roof off and replaced some of the tensioning wires but he’s retired now some of the corners are a bit warn so I’ll be looking in a couple of years and will get someone to fit worth any amount than the stress.

Go to a local trimmer I had my window replaced six years ago there is new roofs on eBay as Paul said

Thought I’d clean car over weekend and of course put back in garage and cover it over.

Just had a cover made by company up north because there isn’t a pattern for a convertible (indoor cover ) before that a had a blue and white one off eBay £50 really good quality in fact better that the new one but good to see a fitted one
