The white tire lettering kind of detracts from your awesome polished paintwork mate. I think it draws your vision away from the paint and breaks up the view (if that makes any sense to anyone). It draws your attention much like a bad scratch/mark o the paint. I keep scrolling up to look at the pics and I just can't quite describe it properly. No offence meant or intended Lee. Have a look at the pics and see if you can see what i'm getting at. Awesome Polishing work though.

That's what I was thinking, what else should I get done now that the engine is being replaced and out of the car?? My mechanic is very knowledgeable but hasn't done much in the way of Zeds, I've read on here about EGR removal but what else should I ask him to do??

If my car had a full timing belt kit fitted in 2009 and has done only a few hundred miles before getting hydro locked, would the Pulleys and Tensioner be ok to use on the new engine or do these parts deteriorate over time?? Any advice guys?? Thanks.. Rich

Well I'm going to make sure my new engine is good to go, so I'll change all the pulleys belts, filters and pumps before dropping it in, the old engine will hopefully be heading to Bristol for the Jimmer treatment when funds allow... probably next year!! So I'm going to have to spend similar if not more???

I'm gonna have to sell a kidney to get my car back running!!:crying: Oh well, you can't bring it with you:w00t:

What about a high gloss Dark Graphite Grey?? Think it might look good, and keep your bumper all shiny. It would have to be a really dark grey to work though. Just a thought, I might be wrong.

I think you should've got your new plate in a smaller size but exactly the same style as what you've already done. You could've used your old plates for the Mot and then run your smaller new ones as soon as you got out the MOT centre:cool3: Either way you have got a set of seriously savage number plates matey:thumbup1:

Right guys, I said I'd try double my chances of getting a good exhaust system by seeing if anyone has an Abflug or Veilside system for sale?? Probably still clutching at straws :clover: but if you don't ask you don't get:biggrin:. I've decided if I can't get either of these systems, I'll just use my new Japspeed system. Any help in finding one of these exhausts would be appreciated. Thanks... Richie
