***Update*** Well today saw a better light, corrected my earlier mis hap ;) Then the passenger side, again caplier nuts were tight as a ducks A$$, but got it done, then on to the rears!!!! well what can i say.. easy as fook, took less time to do both rears then it did to do the passenger side   so nice newshiney brakes and pads, big thanks to smithy another quality part supplied, well happy, think that made me think though the fronts look quiet new and were a ******* to get undone, however the rears deff neededchangeing and were easy as pie, only thing i can think ok is who ever did the fronts used an impact wrench to do them up. oh well jobs a good en thanks to all of the encouraging comments above ;) Neil

Yes that'll be me!! Fitting the brakes i got off smithy today, should have known it wasnt goingto go well..... forgot to loosen the wheel nuts before jacking and putting the car on the axels stands D'oh! so sorted that out, Then couldnt undo the bottom bolt that holds the capiler on finallygot it un done, and was starting to get dark so got my mahussive torch out, working away changed the disc and though this is actually quite easy, changed the pads, just as easy, (yes undid the bleed nipple and removed the top off the brake fluid resivour...torch dies..bugger, well can kinda see from the car park lights i'll carry on..... caliper back on, nice and tight, wheel back on, still on the stands gave the wheel a spin and no rubbing or any noise what so ever, bonus.. clearing up to go back to work.. hold on these pads dont look the same.... :headvswal one new pad and one old pad in hand :xxx: :xxx: ... BOLL0X!! sonow have to take every thing off and swap the pads over.. in all fairness the the old pads dont look that old nor does the disc, so will prob keep em just in case. If it goes to court, copper said it was pretty much banged to rights so, but might be worth talking to the copper, i mean, the cars in pecies anyway, and the wings arew fiber glass and with no bumper on they kinda just flex, might see if i can get a paint job out of em though! lol think they'll believe they stripped the whole down to primer??? lol. But as for killing some one, it was probably inevitable, specially that time of night the roads round the pub were packed, should didnt even make it out the car park with out hitting some thing, and she was only just moving, imagin on the road at 30!!! dont bare thinking about.

Well though's who know me, will no i finished a relief at another pub on monday, First shift back at my pub last night...... finished the hand over with the other manager as she went on Holiday yesterday, came down to the bar and my supervisor said to me " i've stopped serving though's 2 girls because they have been in since 11am and they're well pissed!" this was at 4.45pm  any way about 5 min later they started to leave though it was quite funny seeing them try to walk out, they could bearly stand!! watched them leave the pub and head for the car park.... just getting coats i though.... fook me was i wrong, they both got in the car and tried to start it up  ...... where's the zed parked?!?!? right be hind them.... oh shit i though, i ran out to the car park but too late... yep reversed straight in to the zed  B******X's!!!!  so with mobile in hand and the local cop shop on speed dial ( perc's of the job) i stood in front of there car, bit silly now thinking about it, told the daft b***h to get the fook out the car and give me the keys, the call centre operator, hat's off to the bloke, told me to stay on the phone till units arrive, recording the whole call, these 2 bints were f'ing and blinding at me saying they never hit my car and wernt even driving!!! the fooking car was now in the middle of the car park with it's light's on and stereo blasting.....obviouly been like that since they turned up at 11, anyway about 20 min later the cop car pulls up, after i follwed these 2 around the house's giving a very detailed description of what they look l;ike and where they were going. they immediatly arrest the dozy driver and nick her mate for drunk and disorderly, fookinbg thing is i cant claim on there insurance as it's null and void cos they were drunk!!! so will have to spend time l;ooking over the car to see what damage there is and start a small claimes proceeding against her, thing is this might take ages , so i'm gonna have to fork out my self and try and get it back......... COONTS!! rant over! Neil

Oil catch tank
it's a tank with mesh inside, i'm not sure if it's intake air or recirc air that flows through it, and basicly it get's any oil in the air out, simple as that really, seams like a good idea however the mounting and the connecting up is leaving me a bit scratchy heady at the moment! Neil

Oil catch tank
Hi guy'sthought this would be a good idea, i'm stuff as to how to fit it, just checking i'm connecting it up right... the back of the engine, on the passenger side. The IAA valve pipe work connects into a connector do i connect it to the other side of the this connector and do away with the little peice of pipe work that is already there? also where the fook do i mount it???? can seam to see a space big enough for it! any body got one fitted that can put up some pic's so i can get an idea as to where i should mount it. Cheers Neil
