  3. After the Zed was stolen yesterday and i had the news that the only reason the car was dumped was the wheel came off... I spoke to a few friends in the engineering industry and have got the same answer from all...... ***WARNING*** If you have had you car sitting for a period of time over this cold snap we have been having latlely check your wheel nuts... with the cold (down to -11) the wheel nuts will contract in size and when heat gets back into them as the temp rises they will return to nomal size and losen them selves off........ ***WARNING*** so if any fellow have had the zed sitting there for a week or so please please please check the wheel nuts........ Cheerz Neil

  7. Cheers mate, we'll see what else comes up, as i havent got a motor to pull it with.. but thanks. i will keep your number just in case...... unless you fancy pulling it to London with me lol
  8. All very well if your single.. but what bout the family guys.....i spent 6 year in the submarine service... not something i'd do again... months and months away from home... children didnt know who i was when i come home....
  9. Had a look through the first link mate but have no other car or van with a tow bar to pull it with.. Thanks though Neil
  10. I was in recruitment... there are still alot of jobs out there, but employers are more picky because they know there are so many more ppl looking so they only take the best on, and you find that ppl are looking at the roles below what they were at thus making them more employable because they have the skills to do more than there job description and get paid less for doing it.... I've had 3 interviews in the last month, most recent was today for the London ambulance service, it was the aptitude test i think it went well, looking at formal interview next friday, all going well. so keep looking guys things are out there just need to know where to look thats all..... :D

  16. Still unsure as to what todo, i jknow with the damage it's prob not that hard a fix, but TBH being out of work i just cant afford to get it out the compound let alone think about the cost for recovery back home and then the cost of repair and then the cost of respray, all for some little scum bags 2 hours of kicks.........
  17. Falcon preditior Evo.... not that it makes any difference... think i'll be getting it changed now anyway.. it's obviously crap!
  18. Yes and yes, but there hads to be a mechanical way into the car for the MOT  and if you look you can find them
  19. Was my first though.. Will have too wait and see what it looks like...
  20. Was stolen from where I used to live, had an interveiw with the LAS today, from the sounds of it the wheel just come off?? Not sure what happened!??! The wing is a vent one the stollen sides gutted as my paint isn't made any more so would also need a full respray  And the mrs was more worried about the wheel and if they collected it or not?as said it can sit on my Drive at home till I can get the bits together but straight off it's £200 for the recovery and 1 days storage charge... And at £25 a day it'll soon mount up grr, need to get it back asap really......  Neil
  21. Well as the title said.... Zed was stolen today from London grrr was recovered on the a406 not sure how much damage but by the sounds of it the front passenger wheel came off??? Wrecked the wing and side skirt... Don't even know if they have the wheel or not??? Unsure as weather to go through insurance or not.... A wing and side skirt are easily replaced as are disc brake disc's prob I have is getting it from the recovery ppl home which is from du on the a13 to March in cambs, about 100 or so miles, RAC has lapsed as the car was off the road... Gutted and totally fed up, this car has been spend spend spend and TBH I can't be bothered any more, with me being made redundant in December I just don't have the money to get it out of the lock up let alone home and repaired..... might just get rid now.... Firstly any body got a trailor and something to tow it with that willing to lend a hand?? So now on the train home after an interview totally pissed off and deflated..... Neil
