  1. WTF>? Anyways, just incase random ppl do a search on this site in a years time, and decided go out and superglue their wounds its not a good idea lol.
  2. Agreed, only time you can get away with that is with tints. Someone I know once had a metalic black FTO, and had the outside done with a few purple tints in it, so it wasnt too bad. But I have seen red Cars with Black shuts etc aweful

With that setup up running higher boost and done right you should see around 320 @ fly I would say.
  6. Try giving them a tap? or running some injector cleaner through? most places who try and sort gummed up or dirty injectors disconnect the fuel line and run a concentrated solution through it with pet mixed from another tank, helps clean up the intake valves too. Other than that take em out and have a look, whilst your at it its a good excuse to put some bigger ones in :) Biggest cause is shite in your fuel or a dirty fuel filter? when was it last changed, have you been running her real low?
  7. I'd agree with chris on this, you could get the outside done and shuts for probably around 800-1k but not the inside of the boot and under the hood etc. I would say 1500-2k with all interior visible bits done, and most of under the hood done. Having said that depends where you go, the BMW spray place round the corner from me is happy to charge you upto 800.00 for one pannel

P.S, I was running 16psi, full larger bore stainless system from manifold back (no silencers or cats), ECU was chipped, Blitz induction. I think if I would have had it on the rollers I would have been lucky to see 330 and very very lucky to see 340. At the wheels I would have always hoped for 300, but it would have been less.

I woud say cat-back exhaust and induction is likely to give hardly any HP increase, perhaps 2-3?, however if you ramp the boost up a little, with those two things you have it will help more than the stock filter / zorst and you will get more benefit. You really want a larger bore from manifold all the way to the back with no cats, that way it will spool much quicker and handle a boost increase better :) (and kill your turbo seals quicker but hey that's life) I would seriously say with stock ECU and still having the cats on the car etc, the mods wont really make any more hp, you may be looking at stock bhp or a few over if your lucky. I can not see any car over 10 years old making exact factory output. Stock output of a Z is 279.8 PS (276.0 bhp) (205.8 kW) @6400 rpm and 371.0 Nm (274 lbft) (37.8 kgm) @3600 rpm I would bet on you getting around the 280bhp mark and around 270lb. No idea at the wheels tho, perhaps 240? I would guess between a 12-15% drivetrain / tranny loss. Cheers Steve
  11. That is too funny, the recepies are brill especially where the ingrediants are toby lol

Mate I bought my M3 knowing it had a water leak lol, wouldnt just scrap a car for that! Fixed it in a day or two. Common water leak places are the gasket seal on the water pump (behined the viscous fan) get underneath and see if the crank pulley is wet or has water dripping from it. Other place is the two hoses going into the head, they have two small rubber sections on at the back, get a inspection mirror and a light and check in there. Also squeeze the top and bottom rad hoses, could be something simple like a jubilee biting into the old rubber and causing a hose leak, or the rad itself. Check the rad all over to see if it is wet, if it is, wipe it off, and run the car and see where it comes from (making sure of course you have some water!) if the rad is leaking I would remove it and talc it up to see where it is, it could be repairable. Worst case senario is head gasket, but I would doubt its that. Other than that, get someone like baggins to take a look I guess if your that unsure. But scrapping a car over a water leak?
