Dont chop the fuse out, it looks like its a fused resistor rather than just a fuse, I did this once on a pioneer unit and it fooked it up.

Usually the red wire is the ignition controlled feed, the yellow is the permanent feed and the aerial is controlled by the blue accesory wire.

Same is happening to my chromw wheels mate, from what I can gather refinishing them will be a b*stard of a job as it would be difficult to remove the chrome plate first. I'm just living with mine :'(
