when i insured mine i was 28 with 9 points and no no-clams, was quoted £450 fully comp with a £250 excess, aslong as it was gge'd between 10pm and 7am with a thatcham aprooved alarm/immob. thats with livingstone and warman. speaking to a friend in the insurance game, and she said it goes on post code and job as well tho

not sure if glue would work, better check out the melting piont first, remember the connector does get hot, you dont want it sliding down the screan lol ive never been a fan of gluing any thing if i can help it maybe a delicate spot of soldering would do the trick??
