  1. I fitted a WON Kit to my MX5. It's a relatively simple kit, but you need to make sure your pulsanoids are working before you "go live" :nono: In the end I was running an uprated Supercharger and a 75 shot of Nitrous, which was good enough to see off most of the competition. My favourite was this one. An old rival in his drag spec'd Skyline. Oh, ignore the smoke by the way, minor oil problem ;) ....... ZoomZoom
  2. I hate to dissapoint you, but the girlies are actually thinking "w@nker" when they see us with the roofs off  I have a LWB TT Targa, and have had the roofs off once. I honestly think it looks GHASTLY, and that's a word I've never used in my life, but perfectly describes how I feel about the big missing sections on my car without the targa tops  As far as Slicktops are concerned..... I've driven a couple of Pauls, and can honestly say there is a HUGE difference in the feel of the car. Forget all the stupid stats you're posting, you need to actually drive them hard to understand what everyones fighting about. If I had the money I would have both. As it stands I'm more than happy with my 300 limousine, but I'll keep the black tinted roof panels ON. ;)
  3. I'd be up for a meet later this month also.
  4. Now the car is back on the road, it would be nice to actually do some 300ZX'ing. Any plans?..... Anyone? Dave.
  5. It's roundabout...... There..... If you're heading for the Kingston bridge from the south side, it's on your right. If you've come off the bridge from the north, you follow the one way system heading for the Gorbals, and it's second on your right. Here's my moby if you get lost. 07940 162 770 Dave.
  6. Friday 8th, sorry for the boob.
  7. Since my car is now back on the road, I'm going along to this cruise to show it off to the un-educated ;) Kicks off at 9pm. Infinity computers car park, just before the on-ramp to the Kingston bridge. Dave. *** Edited to correct date, sorry folks ***
  8. Can't really afford it. If it needs parts/petrol, the kids get beans again :D Oh, and I have a much more economical runabout to use, a V6 3ltr Shogun :wack:
  9. Not long to go??? I thought it was delayed yet again? It MIGHT be out next year, lol, and it's not even going to be online!!! Apparently a lot of the software dudes are pulling out and moving over to Xbox, like GTA.
  10. I agree that the first TDU demo was crap, but they released another one yesterday, with a Ferrari, mustang, cobra and a bike, and the demo is MUCH better. I wasn't interested after the first demo but I've changed my mind. I have GRAW, but too addicted to Battlefield to get into it yet. Don't like Gotham, too arcadey.
  11. Get some photo's of where you are, it's cool to see how things look in other countries, car related of course ;) Have fun, just a bit jelous.
  12. Strangely enough, I am PETROLHEAD UK. Mostly playing Battlefield (please forgive me if I was shooting all my team mates the other night, we were just getting our ranks down a bit :) ) Still enjoy Forza, can't wait for the next edition. Going to get Dead rising and Test drive unlimited next week :)
  13. Ahhh, nice when you get the all-clear from the clinic. :duffer:
  14. I have: Oil temp, very important in my opinion. Lets you know when it's time to have fun Boost, well obviously ;) Exhaust temp: also quite important. Lets you know if your tubs are about to blow apart.
  15. Sounds like a paperwork nightmare :( I once filled up at Sainsbury's and 1 mile down the road the engine coughed and died. Turned out to be deisel, and to this day I swear blind I put in the correct fuel. Unfortunately I binned the receipt as I left the kiosk, so I had no proof. :headvswal Hope you get the car sorted without too much expense. D.
  16. oooops, maybe we should keep this between us :x:
  17. Eh??? That's garbage, you guys are easily amused. I thought the "girl" was about to reveal a huge dong or something
  18. Now, if you were smart, you would have persuaded your wife to get the Rex.......... Like I did ;)
  19. Shouldn't be changing gear while going round a roundabout anyway ;)
  20. I had an auto (tip-tronic) Galant VR4. Even though the autobox was incredible, I ended up selling the car bacause it was just so dull to drive. I have driven Paul's car, and have to agree with him. You may as well be driving a Mondeo. There's no feeling of envolvement. Yes, you have power, but I like to choose when to use a gear, not some damn machine ;) D.

Not harsh at all. At 16 you're old enough to know better, so good riddance to the little sh1t. If it was our car that got nicked, we'd end up out of pocket, full of rage, and all he gets is a slap on the wrist. Rest in pieces I say.
  22. Great advert for HID's, lol Do you get some sort of kit? and what does it consist of? Sounds like you need some sort of power boost relay to increase the ampage or whatever.
  23. Sorry, had to ask ;) Well, if is WAS working, and the bulb is ok, then it has to be the wiring, or a blown relay. Is it possible the new bulbs are taking a much higher voltage, and maybe melted the wire going to the non-working side? Heard of that sort of thing happening before. D,
  24. After looking at real 99 spec back lights, my feeble attempts at up-grading do indeed look a bit naf :( Can't quite afford the real deal yet, but saving.
