  1. I'll have your front bumper  LOL, sorry, good luck with the sale. But seriously, how much?
  2. The normal Galant still looks as good though, that's the best thing :) and it will be reasonable on the wallet.
  3. We had our MX5 for 7 years. Incredibly reliable and great fun. There's not really any difference between the 1.6 and 1.8, unless you get the 87bhp one they produced as a "special", lol, morons. I can't slag off the MGF as I've never had one, but I know enough to say DONT! ;) Oh, and of you're interested, the 1.6 engine is good for 300bhp when the wife gets bored and wants some excitement ;) Although it took my wife 5 years before she let me get my grubby paws on it :) Plenty of toys available for the 5 too, not sure about the MGF. Don't buy a BRG one, they smell. D.
  4. :) Excellent. Strangely enough, their attempt at a backpack (undeneath) also looks like a penis. Cry for help maybe?
  5. They don't come much more aggressive than this... I had this, VR4, awesome car, but not what I was really hoping for. The fuel costs did not justify the performance. The Galant on the whole is a great car. Comfortable and reliable, but make sure you get a good one as parts are rather expensive. And yes, I do need to post a picture every time I talk on this forum ;)
  6. Loving the guy standing there with his hands in his pockets just staring down at her
  7. PMSL! I don't care, if there's a hell I'm going anyway
  8. I hope we get TONS of snow  Oh, yeah, coz me and me wife each have these to play with ;)
  9. Love the signiature by the way, would look great on a mug for your Christmas present ;)
  10. Thanks Paul, but I'm not interested in BHP figures, they're too easily flowered up and mean nothing on the road or track ;) Still no figures then? Goodness, at this rate if I post up my crappy quarter mile time I'll have the fastest "proven" 300 on the forum  (it was crap by the way, so I'll not bother :wack: )
  11. Yeah, I agree with everything you say Kirbz, I was only using TOTB as an example. I'm still looking for performance figures from real people on here ;) Nothing yet it seems :wack:
  12. I'm not looking for a shopping list, just performance figures. D.
  13. It's about time we put the 300 on the map, so we're building something for the job. Just thought I'd ask what we have to beat at the moment, in the UK. I'm interested in documented quarter mile times, lap times, top speeds etc. It would be awesome to compete in TOTB at some point, but not till we're ready to really kick ass. So, what ya got? :) Dave.
  14. I've got that on my watch list also :D I have an engine sitting here waiting for it. It looks clean, but then it's obviously just been washed, so it's shiney from water. Let me know if you're going to bid for it as I don't really have the space at the moment, so no point out-bidding each other. Dave.
  15. I think I got mine in Halfords, or maybe my local car stuff shop. It's not expensive. Mine came in a round shallow tin.
  16. :wack: Yeah, I know, it's a headfcuk :D 1500 is pretty much just paper. If you're brave, you will do it. That's how these guys in Overhaulin/American Hotrod get such a nice shine. I watched it and thought "what the hell are they doing?????" but that's how you do it. Light rubbing remember, and keep it wet!! ;)
  17. Oh yeah, sorry, missed that bit, lol. Coat of paint semi dry, another coat of paint Dry for half an hour Do the sanding to get rid of orange peel. 800 down to 1500, keeping paper wet Laquer Dry 1500 paper, again keep wet. Then Rubbing compund with wet cloth, then T-cut. ***** I warmed up the panel with a hairdryer before painting, then used the hairdryer as I was spraying. Kind of, heavy coats and straight over with the dryer, doing it in smallish sections.******** That's it this time ;)
  18. That's the panel I have, damn good choice ;) It's a great fit, but you'll need to do some prep work: You need to drill the holes along the edge. These are marked for you Remove the metal brackets and rubber seals from the old panel, and make sure the line up with your holes. Once you're happy with the fit, it's time to paint. Remove the panel from the car, remove edge strips again and find somewhere warm to paint the panel. Make sure you give it a light rub down, then spray with primer. I didn't do this as I thought it was already primered, but it wasn't :( (stone chips ahoy) I got a couple of tins of Nissan Black pearl, which is a perfect match for my car. Once dry, rub it down with different grades of wet n dry paper, then use rubbing compound. Then a final T-cut, then polish. Alternatively, take to a spray shop and it will be done in a few hours, lol. Good luck.
  19. Edited because I didn't read your description post, sorry.
  20. Anna, you have just given the middle finger to the entire red blooded male polulation of the planet..... well done  In recognition of this amazing feat, I made you this.... Dave.
  21. And I was hoping they would be increasing the speed limits on motorways. France and Spain have a good system. Their normal limit is about 85mph, but if it's wet or foggy etc, the limit is reduced to 70mph. If the limit was reduced to this extreme, I would no longer use the roads. I would have a track car and ride a bicycle to the shops. Damn it, that's what the green morons want :slap:
  22. Have to agree with above, don't go near them. My friend bought a car from them before we knew their rep. Looked great when he got it, but the polish was hiding the banger underneath.
  23. About time I got a run
  24. No wonder there's so many loonies killing school kids in the USA. Gongrats to the gaming industry for making games so realistic and envolving that they completely transform your life, lol. Reminds me of the video of the wee German kid smashing up his keyboard while playing Half life, or whatever it was. And yeah, what the heck is a Cloudsong
