Thought I’d whack a few more pictures up as it’s been forever since I updated this. I really am useless when it comes to updating my own threads. Having said that not a huge deal has been done to it since then. I got round to fitting those lights I bought from Keith and had a Mongoose 2.5 inch catback fitted as can be seen in this picture. It also had the knock sensor and rocker gaskets changed which turned into having pretty much the whole of the top of the engine stripped down and all the gaskets replaced. Cost a fair bit but at least it’s all spot on now and shouldn’t have to take it apart for a while again. At the time I also had some grey painted rocker covers and water pipes fitted to keep it looking OEM+ but a bit tidier. Unfortunately Ali is right about stanced cars though. Some of the asinine lengths people go to in order to have the widest wheels and the skinniest tyres on the lowest car possible is just ridiculous. It's gotten out of hand tbh. It's the kind of thing which makes the plod start pulling over modified cars and then that leads to new regulations because a few dipsticks took it too far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's all good mate, I just think the state of the modding "scene" is a lot healthier and more tasteful than it used to be 10 years ago. Every time you see a car with an ugly fibreglass body kit and big chrome wheels on at a show these days they stick out like a sore thumb. Thankfully this kind of modding is dying out. No offence but you don't half sound like a moany old misery guts. As for 300ZX's being "chavved" I've seen 300ZX's with shit paint and tasteless bodywork for over ten years. It's slowly dying out now if anything but there's still a few ex Max Power readers clinging on. As for spitting flames out of the exhaust... That's just a bit of fun isn't it? I only really like the front bumper. Not overly fussed about the rest. For me the standard bumper needs a little extra something like a splitter or a lip to give it a bit more attitude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I would love to be able to buy the whole car so it sorta could live on as a turbo with mine but I just don't have the money and he's already started breaking it. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply but just wanted to say thanks to those who organised the meet and those who convoyed from Toddington. It was my first meet as a 300ZX owner and there was some lovely cars in attendance. Myself and Zelda are looking forward to the next one. For now she's back home and cleaned up.

I'll be at Toddignton at 10. Sounds like we will have a decent little convoy :)

Thanks mate, I've just realised which car is yours! I was chatting to Simon about interior stuff at the NEC and was ogling over yours as well as that was before I had collected mine. Properly lovely car, perhaps there's room for a mine at the NEC this year? As long as I've had it detailed first so as not to look too bad next to yours haha.
