  2. The earth is flat, 911 was an inside job and cheese is actually a mind control drug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Reason why I ask is because my car has a hole right in the middle of the dash where the Japanese owner had some aftermarket gauges. At the moment it’s covered by a “Z” nose badge but it irritates me and I’d rather have that smooth uninterrupted sweep of the standard dash. I think black alcantara or an economically priced alternative to alcantara would look decent... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Is it possible to do the top half of the dash and door cards too or is that too much of an utter ballache? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Can’t decide which I like best as a banner. Both are awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. A friend of mine did this and I got way too excited about it. Happy Gran Turismo memories flooding back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Holy moly that looks good. Gah, expensive ideas in my head again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Don’t get me wrong mate I’m not a Luddite and I totally agree with you that an alternative needs to be found to fossil fuels. In fact the sooner everyone who doesn’t care about cars switches to an alternative the better because then more fossil fuel will be left for us enthusiasts. Current battery technology is a placebo though. Producing the batteries themselves does far more damage than a lifetime of driving an ICE powered car and the lifecycle from production to scrappage of an electric car is environmentally worse. Perhaps batteries will become more efficient and environmentally friendly but not for a while yet. Personally I think cars will switch towards using capacitors rather than batteries. The thing that gets me most though is that hydrogen fuel cell technology has existed and is proven over decades of use in thins like space programmes etc. It would fit our daily lifestyle much better than a battery powered car too because you simply refill it once it’s run out. No government wants to pull their finger out though and make that first leap towards sustainable hydrogen production and an infrastructure for the vehicles powered by it. 9. Best place for a Tesla, as far away from us as possible. Horribly built planet killing things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Crikey Moses, you’re not messing about are you? Good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It’s a strange one. I absolutely ****ing hate seeing creepy guys leering, shouting and cat calling girls. It makes my blood boil. However there has been a number of posts from grid girls themselves who have lost a job they love staying in some cases it has actually enabled them to get a foot in the door of motorsports and in some cases even compete in the sport they were previously promoting. They also (and rightly so) point out that rather than punish girls by removing them from jobs and a sport they like the focus should be on educating cretinous individuals that abuse of women is not OK. The real issue is men’s behaviour and not the women. We’re not all asexual, if we did the human race wouldn’t exist so there needs to be a focus on the difference between sexuality and abuse. 12. After you’re done I’d recommend getting some Autoglym bumper and trim gel and a micro fibre and running that round the seal. It makes the rubbers look nice and fresh and conditions them to stop them drying out. I use it on everything that’s black and plastic/rubber on the outside of the car or in the engine bay as well as any seals. It’s good and keeping the targa seals nice and tight too. 13. I much prefer the earlier spoiler but I’m not inclined to start grinding a perfectly good tailgate. Hence why if I swapped it I’d rather just get another altogether. The current spoiler isn’t offensive I just think it looks a bit stuck on and makes the back end look narrower and taller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’d rather not **** with it tbh. If I was going to change spoiler I’d get a new bootlid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I do wish my car had the early style spoiler instead of the 94+ one. I just think the earlier one suits it so much better. Can’t even swap mine to an earlier one without leaving big holes in my bootlid where the front bits of the spoiler mounts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Haha yeah, I don’t know how these things come about to be honest. I don’t actively seek publicity or anything. Maybe I should try and bit harder and see if I can become some kind of irritating internet celebrity [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That one strip of paint below the headlights is the only part of the car that isn’t the original paint and it’s the only part of the car where I’m not happy with the paint. I’ll have to get it resprayed at some point, it needs it anyway after it got pebble dashed at the AGM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Probably best just to buy a different car tbh... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. No, the other person did before things got interesting. Everything has been spot on since though and it’s been at least 6 months now so I won’t say any more on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Now I've been known to make some questionable decisions with regards to taste but that...
  21. Haha, they are in great condition but I shan’t be selling them I’m afraid. I’m keeping all the original parts wrapped up in storage should I ever want to put it back to original. My plan is to make sure anything I do to this car is reversible. Thank god that gearknob was reversible! [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And finally just to wrap up today’s updates. My car was recently used for a TV show. I’m not allowed to say which one at this point and it didn’t exactly have a starring role but it was cool nonetheless. Once the show has been aired I’ll post up about my experience here because I had a brilliant time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Cheers mate, I just can’t stand the orange indicator lenses, not overly keen on 99 spec ones and quite liked the tinted look of these. I have plans afoot to make my own custom tinted LED ones though using the standard housings. I’ve bought two spare pairs which I can cut up and *******ise as I see fit without having to ruin the original ones that came on it. I’m going to try and keep it tasteful but we’ll see how it pans out. Also regarding the Mongoose exhaust. I’ve had it a few months now and perhaps I’m a chav at heart but I think I want something louder [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Forgot to mention (apologies for the barrage of posts, I’m a bit scatter brained right now). I got a nose panel with a black Z badge too when I bought Keiths rear lights. Much prefer it to the Nissan badge. And before anyone says anything, yes it has been pointed out to me that the badge is upside down. Someone was kind enough to mention it over Facebook and I’ve now rectified this. [emoji23] I also fitted a dildo gearknob, I don’t know why. I’ve now removed it. God knows what I was thinking . 25. Other than that I’ve just been enjoying it and going to meets and shows with it etc. A friend of mine who takes photos for Banzai took this awesome picture and then another friend of mine kindly turned it into a cheeky little illustration for me which is cool.
