  2. sorry to hear of your unfortunate events bud.. sounds like a right nightmare. though the last thing you want to be doing when you start to lose control is ditch all the power by sticking it into neutral.. nevermind, whats done is done, no casualties, you car can be fixed :)
  3. i used the karcher to get most of it off combined with brushes and solvents.... the kit i bought came with a 10mm drill bit and bungs to drill and re-seal the sills :)
  4. lol... tbh i would bet that the guy genuinely thinks it is a tt from being mislead when he bought it himself....
  5. welcome to the club buddy :) get some pics up of your motor and make sure you get subscribed to receive full benefits of the club :D

  14. yes we have to use them so not to damage any structure... used in conjuction with a good sealant remover and youve got a good combo :)
  15. i use a similar product on aircraft for removing sealant as blades are a big no no... its fookin nasty stuff and fizzles away, attacking on contact with the sealant.., people, eyes, finger nails, dogs, llamas and velour curtains. im not sure how good that commercially available stuff is against it though :)

are you still looking for a photographer?
  18. i must admit... even though i got mine before the rise of the 99 quid kits and paid more than double that for them, i have never regretted buying them... not only do they improve the zeds standard poor visability ten fold but they also give the car a much more updated appearance with the light intensity and colour burn etc... top mod. id say if you cant decide, go for them, you wont be disappointed... oh and btw, danny is the man for the hid kits but im sure you already knew that? :p
  19. im normally a big fan of the wide ass gang but there something about that 1 that looks 'too' wide? maybe just the angle... im sure its a stunner in person
