hmmm...dont like Skylines. Evo's are fun. 8 series are pricey to run.

I believe the TT Zed is unique to the R230, but there were other nissans that shared the R200 diff of the NA Zed, such as the skyline, 200sx, Q45 and 350z. They used different Internal ratios however.

get a comp check done as the only way the dipstick can blow out will be crankcase pressure mainly caused by worn rings Paul

Could be done in an hour by somebody very familiar, but 2 hrs labour sounds about right. They may run into problems with Snapped exhaust bolts. If you having bearing problems then Its best to check and change the rear gearbox mount too. Its the sagging of the rear mount that moves the propshaft out of alignment and causes premature bearing failure. A new bearing will fail again with a sagging gearbox mount.
