Yeah i was there and saw a green zed broken down on way up. show wasnt that good and i only saw 1 zed also. what day did you go up then.

Oil level on the dipstick should be half way between the MAX and LOW not at max as most people put it as when the engine is hot it will be over filled.

Have you checked the teeth on the flywheel ? It could be u were just unlucky that the engine stopped in that exact place when you fitted your new starter.

That is a mean looking machine.

Most likely cause is rocker cover gaskets leaking when driven hard and dropping oil directly on to exhaust thus leaving no leak just smoke. Do compression test as Si says but just pull out dipstick and see if it is breathing heavy ? ( smoke out of dipstick tube when running !)

And better fuel economy I expect. :)

I have had e few of both and they are both fun and great to drive. TT puts a smile on your face every time u drive it. N/a puts a smile on your bank accounts face LOL. In all honestly if you dont drive fast and just want a reliable amazing looking car go for an N/a. If you want to scare the crap out of your passengers and descimate most other cars go for a TT. But go for a manual and one that has been serviced regular and most of all one where the tubs have been replaced if you can.

Hey wait a minute I have a 4x4 and i dont get in peoples way I use pavements and grass verges quite frequently. LOL but did you know my zed is actually wider than my discovery or range rover (except Bobtail lol)
