  7. I had mine re sprayed original metallic black as the car came out of the factory. I now wish i had it done in flat black as you can get a much beter shine and is more rewarding after a good polish.

  15. While trying to work out how to wire my electric fan controller, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=141436 i stumbled across this, an interesting tutorial on relay operation. Hope it may be useful to somebody http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/faq-emporium/117895-faq-relays-how-they-work-how-wire-up.html
  16. The other sensor is for oil temp. The fan is an uprated electric fan for a subaru with black and red connections, live and neutral (+ -) i presume. I don't know much about relays, will have to look in to them, cheers.
  17. I've just bought a fan controller for my electric fan conversion (yes i know, LOL :D). The trouble is it has come with Jap instructions  Is there a way of translating documents or can any one point me in the right direction with the connections please. Also i presumed i would not need a relay but on page 2 there is a picture of a relay. Do i need one in between the controller and the fan ? Also in pdf which is better quality.
  18. All of the above give excellent service.
  19. Thanks for the offer but i already have one sat on a shelf in the garage, that's what made me think of the idea.
  20. I just didn't know if you would need a rad cap on it like these ones, scroll down. It seems they also have an expansion tank that just looks like an oil catch tank. http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/shops/Rat_Sport/index.php?cat=Radiator_Expansion_Tank___Swirl_Pot
  21. O.K. thanks :D Would i connect it to the spout on the filler neck ? I also have a new oil catch tank, could i use that for the expansion tank ?
  22. I have fitted an AMS rad to my car. Do i need to re fit the expansion tank as it is cracked and don't want to fit one if i don't have to. The car has been left to run on the drive but has never been driven on the road and does not over heat. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_526&products_id=2454
