  4. Might see if i can get some new connectors.
  5. I think i have cleaned them enough but after reading this may give it another go.Can you remove the CAS by just unbolting it so i can clean it better or will it uncoil like a box of watch springs LOL :D
  6. No errors
  7. Still no joy  Cleaned all the connectors and made sure they were on correctly.Car still turns over and there is still the smell of fuel out of the exhaust. Is there an easy way to check for spark ? Could the PTU fail from it just being sat there ?
  8. The alloy one on the left is series 1.
  9. Cheers Guys :duffer: That gives me a few things to look at.
  10. It turns the engine but does not even cough or splutter. Then the garage stinks of fuel from the exhaust after about 10 seconds of turning. The car has not been run for over twelve months but has been housed in a large damp free garage and never missed a beat before i got my little grubby hands on it :o
  11. I've just done a few jobs on the car, new alloy rad, painted cam covers, new thermostat etc put it all back together and refit all the electrical connections and now the car won't start.I have run it through data scan and no faults show up . The temp sensor is a bit cracked and damaged could this stop the engine starting ? The engine turns and there is a strong smell of fuel out of the exhaust. HELP!!!
  12. I think it's melted :hurl:
  13. Bit too fussy for me mate, sorry.
  14. Nice old mans cruising machine.Looks well comfy and 3litre to boot. What do you all think ? http://www.japanautodirect.com/auto.specsheet.cfm?id=5473
  15. I would save up for the urethane one. I have the Scarab (E-bay one not Zed centre one) and my body man said it was a pig to fit especially the line where it joins the wings. It also chips and cracks really easily unlike the urethane one.Mine has been on two years and is already looking tatty.
  16. Is that before he fit his new naff steering wheel or after LOL  Well done BTW :duffer:
  17. Think he means one of these ;) You will need it to fit the Volvo though. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDWICH-PLATE-OIL-TEMP-PRESSURE-ADAPTOR-NISSAN-300-zx_W0QQitemZ360182861133QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item53dc924d4d&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  18. Soak them in WD 40 then apply some heat to them with a blow torch. When there hot apply some more WD 40 and the heat will draw the spray in to the thread and make them easier to loosen.Don't try and spray with the flame on tho or you will create a flame thrower LOL. I also use a gator wrench for removing rounded off sockets works a treat. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/B000065CJ8/0029-0029-20
