Isn't it about time someone in the know made up a list of known parameters that numptys like me can use to check if our cars are running ok. ;) I have data scan and although i don't really know how to use it yet it has helped me solve a few little problems that would have cost more than the £75 i paid for it if i had taken the car to a garage. :D

Started stripping the car today to fit all the shiny stuff i've been collecting for over a year.When i got the bumper off and rad out i found loads of other little jobs that needed doing like tidying wiring up, old brackets for the oem bumper that are no longer needed and general other jobs that you can't do with the bumper on, and i decided to polish the water pipes and fit a new water pump while every things stripped.So all in all a 2 day job has turned in to a week but i thought i might as well do it right then hopefully i won't have to take the bumper off again. ;) I am very impressed with my new rad too it's huge. :D

I've been looking at fans half the size of that :eek: I was going to fit it to a stat. Switch on temp - approx 95degC Switch off temp - approx 85degC Plus a manual overide. It's only for fast road not for track use (yet). Do i need an expansion tank?
