I've got a 5 year old Panasonic plasma 42 inch still going strong. I also have a 43 inch pioneer plasma and the picture is fantastic. My mates got a panasonic viera 50 inch and when you play dvd's it's awsome but when watching normal sky it's a bit grainey but on sky HD the pictures mint. As Si says ;).Do it matt black (not metallic) and have it lacquered. I had mine resprayed in factory metallic black and it just looks fuzzy to me :(
