I`ve used hypertec in the past. They changed an autobox for me first zed. Seemed to know there stuff and think they have worked on a few 300`s.

Brakedust, What did you think of the cerbera?? Thinking of selling my zed and getting a cerby or tuscan. Did you have a red cerbera as I remember seeing one along nethergate in Dundee not too long ago, sounded awesome.

I use to stay in Kinghorn and that zed I think was bought brand new by the guy who owned pettycur bay caravan site. Use to see it all the time. BTW Craig - got the zed running!!!

You got a good car mate, I drove it and it felt very good. Once you get the paint and wheels sorted she will be nice.

To be honest mate, not a huge amount of Z31 owners on this site, mainly Z32`s here. Could try and ask on the Zclub forum.

Mate, to be honest if thats your budget you should try and increase it as these cars are expensive to run. You do not want to buy one which needs a lot of work done or you could easily spend double the purchase price in getting it to drive right. ronnie

Think with the age of a zed that stock figures like you have quoted dont mean too much. If I were you I would concentrate on driving a few and trying to buy the best one possible within your budget. Also try and drive autos and manuals if you can as there is a difference in their power delivery. I also went from a Rover turbo to a zed (first one). Although the rover was fast the zed was a lot better. Good luck. There are a few zed owners about Dundee and when I get mine running you can have a look. ronnie

I came down at about 10.30. Didnt see any other zeds though. Left after about 20mins, suppose it was busier earlier.

As Barry said for £500 would deffo recommend the samsung 32" CRT. Only CRT TV at the moment that is HD ready. I`ve looking at this, should have them at a local currys. I have a 1994 jap import TT and the bumper is identical to my previous 1990 model TT.

thanks guys, much appreciated. looks like it will be too much additional cost and problems as already have a TT upgraded clutch. also think that the NA does not have a clutch booster. ronnie

Need some advice guys, Currently have an auto TT, but looking to get it converted to a manual. Have got a RPS TT organic clutch already, but in touch with a guy who is breaking a non-turbo Z32. Can anyone tell me if the non-turbo box will fit directly or will I need additional bits. Remember from previous post that the bell housing might be different. thanks ronnie
