  3. cheers dnk ill have a look later on
  4. there is an earth wire that sits behind the head unit that goes to the body work, make sure that is connected to the chassis of the head unit, for some reason the loom earth seems to pick up a lot of interference, if not that it could be a corroded earth cable from the battery, unshielded RCA cables or RCA's running next to power cables.. simple things to check first
  5. Might beable to help here, last time Mark (Topless) done some work for me he said i had the late injectors etc i would assume there is no diff from an N/A or TT? if anyone has a pic i could check it against the one i have John
  6. and im getting better fuel economy than my mrs 1.4 fiesta ghia
  7. Nick it realy is a worth while system, the car isnt running lean and no det problems, ive had her dyno'd emisions checks the lot and they all came back with better resuls than it did on petrol, no hesitation or nothing There must be a downside .. but while im saving myself 3-4k a year im not concerned
  8. Ive got reciepts for suppy & fit @ £1750.. sounds expensive but when i work out i done nearly £4k last year on fuel alone .. and if you work in london and have to go into the congestion zone thats £40 a week or £2000 ish a year so the savings are plenty . http://www.chilterngascars.co.uk/general/index01.htm
  9. Bizzare i know But as a lot of you know , i just recently bought 200SX, ive upgraded to a larger turbo T28RS and odds n sods since i bought it and shes now running a cool calm 301rwhp Now heres the good bit Its powered by LPG I was very wary when i was looking at the car, but for the price and all the mods already done it was a steal Ive been using it since the weekend and clocked up 217 miles , filled the tank up which cost me £23.50 when you work out petrol is now £5 ish a gallon its working out im doing nearly 50 miles to a 5'vers worth of LPG and i do have a heavy right foot the sytem is made by BRC called the Sequential FAST system, it has its own ECU the piggy backs onto the standard one and changes the cars timings to suit LPG, unlike the usual LPG conversions where you lose power. the power loss is minimal and possibly going to get more power in the future after its been mapped further, at the moment im between 1 and 2 BHP down compared to Super Unleaded (Car runs on both) Not only that but because its an LPG converted car Transport For London (TFL) has made the car exempt from the congestion charge So im quids in all round and still have a very quick car Might be worth considering if you do high mileage John
  10. coz im secure in my sexuality .. not like u northern shandies :tongue:
  11. Kim .. admit it you wanted to do IT, she, him, whatever up the chocolate starfish :tongue::rofl::tongue::rofl: i think id freak n hit the fooker if that happened to me

  13. Anyone know whether there is a diff between an N/A master cyl and a TT one? just curious as im thinking about putting it on my SX as ive already got the 330mm drilled & grooved big brake upgrade Cheers John
  14. there certainly is allsorts on here ... should be called http://www.bertiebassetts.co.uk
  15. Didnt see the reg plate but from what i saw it was a VERY clean n tidy car.. wouldnt have spotted me as ive defected to the 200sx side
  16. Darrell Ello bud, i had noticed from the threads that hardly anything has happened and people not turning up, i cant believe we never had a Boxhill to Brighton run, tat was my fave SE meet of the year, ah well, i'll keeps me eyes open
  17. Dont ry squirming out of it, admit it, it was you in the bath :rofl:
  18. I like the 99 spec for the sheer hell i wont have to do any mods/ paintwork etc, i never was keen on he original front bumper or the rear rubber spoiler, so to start that saves me a bundle of time and cost changing and repainting a car, then things like 99 spec lighs esp the front ones, no need for chroming or fitting HID's So in the end itll be subtle mobs like, wheels, air intake, exhaust n a few other bits, which leaves the car looking pretty standard. I love the Zed, but its starting to look a bit dated IMO, but we all have different tastes
  19. Very nice Eric.. ship it over here please :dance:
