Manual Or Auto
hi my cars at ztech at the moment having the conversion,in my opinion the auto is ok but it drove me mad the way the revs rose and fell all the time, and the way it kicked down as soon as you touched the throttle, sounds good, but very annoying and i would have thought not very economical, mines having a new lightened flywheel at the same time and hicas removed so hopefully should feel a bit differant when it comes back.

Major Suspension Problem
when i bought my tt i had exactly the same problem they were tein coilovers ride height was adjustable but not the dampning,i spoke to tein and they said some of their coilovers were not adjustable. The ride on mine was the same as yours so hard it made the car really unpleasent to drive, fantastic on the track but no good for the road,i bought a set of springs and shocks off andyz and fitted them myself in two hours, what a differance the car know drives and feels great, all together it cost £150 the best money i could have spent then if your want to lower it later get some lowering springs and kyb's .

what do you all think?
no mate the other two are my sons,1 super car is enough for me! as far as comparisons, they all have there good points, the supra is great, easy to work on and ultra reliable. The skylines the same , goes like a rocket, but is very practicle as well, as you can get four people in it comfortably, but for looks and shear carisma, the 300 in my opinion is the nuts. Next its goin to Ryan for a manual conversion, then Greddy side skirts and back, thanks for all your comments cheers guys.

Poss wheel shake solution
i would have thought that is your problem,if the car is lowered to much it will cause to much camber,if yours has to much camber on standards then must be some ware in the suspension ,thus causing your prob, worth checking i would have thought

Anyone mind sharing their knowledge?
before you even think about upgrades make sure the basic mechanicals are A1, hear so many people going on about more power ,uprating the boost etc, and no mention of basic mantainance,so make sure cambelts done ,head gasket is good, maybe uprate that, intercooler and one of the most important things uprate the cooling ,only after all that, and your compression is ok,then proceed with power upgrades, otherwise can be a disaster.

Poss wheel shake solution
hi mate dont know about this weight, but my tt had a wheel shake when i got her ,and like you i had a garage look at all the usual things, and like yours they said everything was great, and couldnt find any problem, mine only disappeared when i took off my Tein coilovers, and went back to standard suspension,so gathered that the thing was lowered to much, know problems since and runs nice and smooth, nothing worse than a wheel wobble.

50 Today
Hi guys, todays is my fiftyth birthday,[old git i here you all say] and so far its been pretty good, one of my boys bought me a Nismo oil cap which looks and feels fantastic, and my other son bought me Smithys fuel line kit ,just finished fitting it,looks great easy to do and can hopefully not worry about fuel smells anymore,no more tightning clips ,well not as many anyway, together with the grounding kit i fitted in red, ive had a good week, also fitted a new centre bearing on the prop on tuesday,a bit of a pig but worth it ,now super smooth,so all in all ,not so bad being fifty ,even if it does take me 5 mins to take a leek ! lol. :hyper:
