  1. Wow, cool! I will certainly come! When is this event normally? I have to be in Portugal when the show is there.
  2. Do you have more photos from you amazing looking black 300ZX TT?
  3. Close enough! :) My idea was to install a twin turbo engine one day in the convertible. Don't know or it's really going to happen, maybe it's oke the way it is now. I still want to buy a T-top version one day, so then I can also have a twin turbo. The convertible is a great car to cruise with through the beautiful landscape from Portugal.
  4. That's good to hear, in the future I want to buy a Twin turbo T-top version also again, after my house is finished...which will probably still will take many years. Where is he located?
  5. On the photos it indeed looks really nice, but I have not seen it in real yet. Low miles,....damn wish that was true, it has 178 miles on it, but it's well taken care for. (most of it's time serviced at a Nissan dealer)
  6. See the last text I wrote in my post above. ;)
  7. Oke, I will! I need to import it first into The Netherlands, then it has to be registered one year on my name and then I can import it into Portugal. His new home will be São Marcos da Serra.
  8. Unfortunately I'm going to sell my rare yellow 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo, need the money to build a house in Portugal and to buy a new car for there to use. But I can continue posting, because the new car that I'm going to import will be a Pearl white 1994 Nissan 300ZX convertible! It's still in the US, but will be shipped to The Netherlands in about the end of August.
  9. I still live in The Netherlands, but going to move to Portugal (Algarve). I just bought a 1994 Nissan 300ZX convertible in the US, which I'm going to import. So one more 300ZX will come in Portugal! :)
  10. Are they only available in the US or also somewhere in Europe? I can't find anything here.
  11. :) Yes, it's about 8 hours work. :( But it would be replacing it once and then it's ok again for many, many years.
  12. Thanks guys for your quick help! If the sensor seems te be broken afterall, then I will replace it, but first I will try your advice to check it.
  13. Oke, what's the best thing to do next? Replace the harness first and then check it again at the dealer?
  14. The person at the dealer showed me and it said literally "knock sensor". So I start with that. :) It's ofcourse also a good idea to replace the wiring harness, I will do that next. I going to prepare my Nissan for a nice vacation for next year from The Netherlands to Portugal, so it needs to be in tip top condition!
  15. I did a computer readout at the Nissan dealer and it said the knock sensor wasn't working, so I need to replace it. Thanks for the links! Is the knock sensor the same for the twin turbo engine?....because the ones they offer say it's for a 300zx
  16. The knock sensor from my 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT is broken and I need to replace it. Where can I buy a new one for a fair price? I checked a Nissan dealer and they charge 357,- GBP for it!!! :(
  17. Thanks for the help guys!
  18. So I must have 11c if I understand well?
  19. My Nissan is now runnning on 5 cilinders, so that does not drive very well. I want to start with changing the spark plugs. The garage thinks it maybe durt in the fuel, but I doubt it.
  20. So 11 with or without a letter is ok?
  21. I have a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo and need to replace the Sparks. I read that I only need to install NGK PFR6b-11b ones, but there are also 11c ones available and the Nissan garage says that it has to have the 11c types. Which one do I really need?
  22. Thanks for the tip! My Nissan stood still for 7 years, in the beginning the speedo worked fine, but after a month or six it started to fail, the odometer and tripmeter already had the problem from the moment I started driving it.
  23. My tripmeter and odometer from my 1990 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo don't work well, sometimes they run and then they stop again. Also my speedo meter, it drops completely dead, maybe later it suddenly comes alive again and going up and down and then it works again. But later it will fall dead again, etc. Any idea what this problem can be with my meters? Maybe the sensor on the automatic?....or?
  24. Thanks, that's exactly what I needed! :thumbup1:
  25. The rear cilinders from my hatch are weak and don't hold up the hatch anymore. New ones cost a fortune, but a car shop near me can re-fill them, they only need to know how much pressure they must have. Does anyone know this? It's for a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo.
