  2. ok, make sure they have done this correctly: if the vehicle passes the CO at idle (which yours has) but the HC is too high, then the HC is required to be retested at 2500 rpm, if the HC is then within the limit (almost certainly will be unless youve got a severe misfire) then the vehicle will PASS!

  4. another one for our FAQ listings! :D yes it is possible, the Nissan manual actually tells you to do it with the engine in! BUT - its a right pig to get to them in situ by all accounts & time wise its probably the same! good luck! :)

  7. if its the lower ball joint on the bottom arm where the hub is mounted, then its the whole lower arm i believe got mine from Mike at MJP,£180

  9. even if you disconnect it, you cant fail a vehicle for having a hose off ;) as long as the emission results are in spec, thats it!!

  12. Well i wouldnt bother with reconned tubs TBH - Smithy used to sell a pair of hybrids for £1000 IIRC, if your going to that much trouble id fit those deffo worth doing the PCV valves 1st as a few on here have had smoke problems cured/improved by doing these.
  13. Cant see that the master cyl is gonna cause it to slip. might be worth trying to adjust it but that only helped me for a short time. looks like a new clutch is gonna be on the cards one way or another speak to Smithy about RPS uprated ones ;)

  20. done my own wheel alignment after my accident, thankfully my tyres seem to be wearing normally so far :)

  22. Tracker has the highest recovery rate of any tracking device - period. also many insurance co's insist on Tracker (because of this)
  23. the wheel bearing sits in its own housing that bolts directly to the hub assembly. cost me £100 from Mike Feeney hth
