  4. I would also have contacted the Ministry Of Transport. may be worth giving them a call, but if you've changed the tyres now there may be little they can do. good luck with it :)
  5. MAC - if the data light flashing, it may be having problems connecting. did that on my fujitsu adsl modem till i downloaded an upgrade

  7. erm, there is no "correct" way to wire them up, thats why you have to configure them in the software :slap: nope, dont have launch. its a lot smoother now the cut tables are configured. driving home, the only problem i could see was im getting misfire at low speeds when pulling away gently, i was gonna up the min speed threshold up to 15-20 kph

  10. got my TC working again :D it was the abs channels that were screwed! it thought front was rear & left was right, apart from that it was fine ;) iv loaded the zed.bin file now, is that the one your running? changes i made for my car: abs channels correct now wheel diameters upped the min rpm threshold to 1500 any other thoughts?

  13. as the reversing lights are not part of the mot, you cannot fail them. the tester would have to pass & advise.

  15. found this on a link from 300zxclub.com: http://www.zcontrol.net/Default.asp freeware specifically for programming the chip in a z32 i know a few on here have dabbled with chip programming, what do you think????
  16. yup, bout the same!! very good quality prints, but eats ink cartridges for breakfast!! why do they make the thins so bloody small FFS (apart to make loads of money from us of course :rolleyes: ) iv found Fuji premium satin paper gives excellent results for photos :)
  17. iv recently bought an Olympus C-750 ultra zoom, its a very nice piece of kit for a very good price IMO. printouts on my Epson 915 truly are amazing. it has a 10x optical zoom lens which was a big deciding factor for me. :)
  18. from the MOT testing manual (section 7.1, subsection 2a ;) ): A durable repair to an exhaust system which effectively prevents leaks is acceptable providing the system is structurally sound.
  19. well for a start, clean out your throttle bodies & idle valve with carb cleaner, clean the terminals on the engine temp tensor & TPS with electrical cleaner & disconnect the battery for an hour to reset the ecu.

  23. LOL !! my 1600 capri GT snapped its cambelt 3 times during the years i owned it(cos it leaked oil like a sieve!!), never bent a valve once ;) at least it was a nice easy job, done it at the side of the road in about 15 mins flat!!! :D
