  1. I didnt think they were actually that expensive?? contact Mike Feeney @ MJP in our traders section for costings. as said - they wont last 5 mins if you plan on upping power at all, get a smiffy one if thats the case
  2. unfortuanatly its gonna do nothing is it - the fuel companies/government know we still need the same amount of fuel to run our cars  nice thought but pointless IMO
  3. with a performance rating of -5 im suprised you even bothered to race. even a reliant robin was given a -4 IIRC :D
  4. brief history: for many years the forum known as 300zx.co.uk was run by Craig & membership grew & grew. the members consumed huge amounts of bandwidth & took up all of Craigs waking time. In the end Craig could no longer keep the said forum running for the members as it had outgrown his ZX (geddit ;) ) Spectrum based server. so a few years back the decision was made for members who loved their cars & the forum & all the other people on it to buy some proper hardware, the software needed to run it & the bandwidth that was costing £££'s per month. the only way to do this was with subscriptions. Thus 300zx.co.uk continues to survive much to the rejoicing of all the members. the end.
  5. prob worth checking the pins in the wiring loom to see if there corroded or have a poor connection, pull the rubber boot back to check at the point where they are crimped
  6. prob wont notice any difference - higher RON just means better resistance to detting

  8. clean the throttle bodies with some carb cleaner. clean the TPS connector & temp sensor connectors with electrical cleaner. check the TPS voltage setting (or with a conzult if anyone local to you has one) poss replace the TPS if ness & temp sensor/wiring harness

  11. FMIC's arnt *really* needed unless your pushing real big power (650+) unless you want them just for looks of course!! SMIC's are far more efficient & will see less pressure drop

  13. never owned a car for so long & not got bored with it!!
  14. i would fit a relay - its not so much supplying a decent sized wire (tho you need that too!) but that the switch will eventually burn out switching that amount of current on & off
