the tinting company we use are pretty clued up, & reckon most film would be illegal when placed over a glass with factory tint :(

30% tint is all thats allowed - HOWEVER, that includes any factory tint!! most cars have a tint as standard now days, most tinting film is illegal when applied over a standard tint on a side window!

surely questioning witnesses for use as evidence in a court of law requires a police officer as well tho??

erm, cos thats what they are paid to do? maybe if you are broken into it would be better if you could get a DIY fingerprint kit from Tesco's & send the results in. would save some of the coppers time too. could be loads of ways of not "bothering" the cops, DIY rape test kit, GBH kit.... :rolleyes:
