  1. Ha Ha looks like my house, zed bits everywhere, but no woman to moan here.   lol
  2. When i take my zed for a run with the datascan plugged in, at speed both o2 sensors move freely & almost in tandem with one lagging behind the other a little....
  3. First screen shot saturday morning not lond after cold start. Second screen shot about 2 minutes later. Third screen shot couple of minuteslater at running temp nearly i think but not driven anywhere yet. can anyone make some sense of these readings, both my o2 sensor gauges change erratically low - high when driving hardish...is this right?
  4. thanks skyline dave sorted now...
  5. I saved some screen shots of my laptop while using nissan datascan on my zed using microsoft word, now all 3 screen shots are saved in the same .doc file, i want to post them on the forum to try and help diagnose a problem im having but i cant seem to upload them. I have tried copy and pasteing into the post thread page but doesnt work, how can i upload the screenshots from word to my photobucket account, or convert them to pictures or something. please help iv'e been trying for an hour now and just can't do it..... :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  6. Hi Jeff TT, you mention throttle balance, I also have a slight problem with that too i think, sometimes well quiet a lot actually my throttle pedal jams & I have to really punch it to unjam it, I traced the problem to the throttle linkage/throttle bodies somewhere, upon inspection of the throttle bodies it looked like there was a wear groove on the near side TB, from where it,s been closing, (could it have been adjusted wrong previously & would this cause the wear), Is this enough to jam the throttle? It's just it seems to be jammimg on the near side and i can't see any obstruction anywhere else. I have set my TPS to 0.42 using datascan but i know it fluctuates +/- 0.02 occasionaly, is this ok? I think the o2 sensors are ok but cant be sure. I have a couple of datascan screen shots i will upload and post them now. cheers
  7. There are no kinks or blocks I have checked most of the vacume pipes. The hks boost sensor is electronic i think it's ok because the factory boost gauge shows 6.5 on full boost and the HKS shows 0.7 bar = 10.15 psi or there abouts. Every time i do an ecu reset it just seems to get worse, may sound stupid but it's true.
  8. Is 10.5 psi standard boost? My Z looks completely standard apart from stainless braided fuel lines to filter, I found a razo turbo timer behind the dash panel which lights up but doesnt work!
  9. Well for starters i have a rough idle which causes the car to stall alot but hopefully i am getting the part i need to solve the problem tommorrow. see thread click here Only started this week opposite of the above!!(weird), i think it's the boost solonoid (at drivers bulkhead area under bonnet), it's the only solonoid left after removing the AIV'S & PRVR, it has started clicking erratically when i let her cool down at idle after a drive, when it clicks, the revs are all over the place but hold in the 1500-1700rpm area for 5-10 seconds, when i hear the clicking...happens 50% of the time.....see picture of it below, sorry about the mobile pictures camera is out af batts. Recently i can feel a thrusting when im at a steady speed, like its trying to accelerate but im not moving the pedal...happens eveytime i get in the car now. Reason i thought it may have been in safety boost is it doesnt feel like it has as much boost as it used too, but this may just because iv'e gotton used to it, i dont know, Im not hearing any sort of bad noise from the engine area so im assuming it's not detting but i dont know what it sounds like. sorry if this doesn't make proper sense but my brain hurts now :headvswal form thinking zed all of the time trying to solve these niggles.......I really appreciate all the help & advice id never be able to get my head round it without you guys
  10. I have searched the forum I found a little info but cant seem to find find the answer. [/img]

  15. Look at this i seen it earlier on the news, take a look really interesting 10p a litre fuel saving, this would save me probably £500-£600 a year......sorry if it's been posted before. Dear ***** Firstly, thank you for signing up to Pipeline Card (http://www.PipelineCard.org) and pledging your support to the Pipeline Card cause. Despite recent cuts, we still pay more for fuel than just about anyone else in Europe so anything we can do to reduce prices is worth doing. Pipeline Card has only been going for two months but we have already secured agreement in principle from a major retailer to offer fuel discounts of between 5p and 10p a litre. We have also had great support from the media, particularly from the car forums, Times Online, and from Martin Lewis, the money saving expert. If you haven't already done so, please check out the Media Page on the website (http://www.PipelineCard.org/media.html). Membership has been growing at an astonishing 10,000 members per week so we are well on our way to launching the Pipeline Card in April or May. However, we do need a lot of registrations to make this work on a national level so please give some thought to ways of telling other drivers about what we are doing. CLICK HERE TO JOIN

  20. Right ok then, could this be the cause of the rough idle, which settles after about 30-45 seconds? Is this a nissan part? Are all the small vacume hoses 4mm? so i can buy some more coz i need to redo my boost gauge lines aswell as new hose for the FPR.
  21. Here are more pictures of the FPR + blocked hose & the part on the plenum with the screw in it!! [/img] [/img]
  22. Here is a picture of mine, you can see the screw, + the small FPR has a short piece of hose coming from it with a bolt in the end blocking it.... [/img]
