Sorry all, only just catching up with the threads, sorry Ivan that you are stepping down, you have done a great job as REO and the Club will be all the poorer for that. Also thanks for making newcomers like myself and Jay so welcome to the Club when we first joined. Unfortunately, I cannot get to so many meets as I did previously as I am working shifts, be I will be around when I can. Ok if I can put my pennyworth in, as you may know I started a new job in September at Normanton Park Hotel on the shores of Rutland Water. I know it is a bit far for some of the people, but we have just started a new venture on Thu and Sun, the hotel is owned by a Chinese couple and we are starting a "Eat as much as you like" Chinese buffet for £13.95 per head (could possibly sort out a discount, all dependent on numbers). The buffet runs on a Thu from 6pm - 10pm and on a Sun 12 midday until 6pm. If you are interested in holding a meet there, let me know and I will see what I can arrange for you. Cheers Dave

I work for a Chinese couple who own the hotel where I am now working, and they are great to work for, the only trouble is that they are on the go all the time and never seem to stop.

Sorry to hear you news mate, am really gutted for you. As Dave Marley says above, give yourself a bit of time before making any decisions. I have been in a similar position and several times I thought about selling the Zed, but didn't, now I am back in work and things are beginning to look up for me after a 3 really bad years. As Dave says you would be gutted if you sell the Zed and then get a job straight away. Thinking of you and I know what you are going through but hang on in there. Cheers Dave

I had been on the dole for 18+months and had to manage on £54 a week, was glad when I landed my new job at £15,500 snapped the blokes hand off, all I can say that he is an idle bugger who needs to get off his a**se and get some work done instead of being a Bl**dy scrounger. Sorry rant over

Hi All, Just wanted to say thanks for all the good wishes for my new job.............started today and it was great getting back into the swing of things after around 18months out of work.
