To everyone who know myself and Z Evo Guy Just to let you know that Jay was released from Prison yestersday after spending 19 months on recall. Unfortunately, the powers to be have deemed it necessary for him to reside in a hostel for the time being (dont know the length of time as of yet) also due to restriction that have been placed on him, we will not be able to attend any meets for the time being, but that is a temporary thing. He has asked to pass on his gratitude for all the good wishes and messages of support that you asked me to pass onto him and says hopes to see you all soon Best wishes Dave:nana2:

We have since met here, after the complaint, when I was Midlands REO and we were welcomed with open arms, no problems at all and the food was good, no complaints about the amount of cars etc etc Dave

Hi everyone in the Midlands Region It is with regreat I have today on behalf of myself and Jay (Z Evo Guy) tendered our resignations as Joint REO for the Midlands. We have not taken this decision lightly, but in view of my continued ill health and Jays's continued stay at HM's pleasure, we both thing it is in the best interests of the Club. We both thank you for the support that we have received both as REO's and on a personal note for from the Members (they know who they are) and hopefully we should be at some of the meeting soon. Hi for those who have agreed to attend the above, times are as follows: The Open Days are On Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 12 noon - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and Monday 11.00 - 5.00 pm. Therefore could you ensure that you arrive at least an hour before the opening times, please make youself know at the car park entrance and you will directed where to go. Regards David

Launde Abbey East Norton Leicestershire LE7 9XB Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, Launde Abbey are holding their Annual Open Days, and I have been asked by the Management Team there to organise a display of cars. Last year Bantam and his brother came and together with my car we had a small display. This year I would like to make it a better display. Details are that the Open Days are open 11 - 5 each day over the bank holiday, we are expecting in excess of 1,000 people over the three day. There will also a craft fair, bouncy castles, and of course bar and refreshments. The proceeds of the days are going towards the refurbishment of the Main House which is a listed building as the Abbey is a Charitable Trust and relies heavily on donations towards it's upkeep. I can also arrange bed and breakfast for anyone wanting to stay over at very reasonable rates. Just a quick note to the Midlands Membes to apologise for not having organised any meets for this year, as some of you already know, I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3) at the end of last year and am just about coping with the effects of that, by the time I have done a full days work, I am too knackered to do anything else. Also, Jay (Z Evo Guy) is still in prison and his review is immenient, so keep fingers crossed, so that has been taking up quite a lot of my time as well. So could I ask Slick, Bantam and Dave if you would be kind enough to organise something for the Mids lads and lasses until I find my feet again. Once again apologies to you all. Kind regards Dave

Hi all, hope everyone is ok and has survived Christmas and the New Year. Thanks Nick, for organising this for the Midland guys, I should have put up a thread, but I have been fighting this damn Chronic Kidney Disease and the medication that goes with it, it is all I can do somedays to go to work, get home and then I'm exhausted. Not much of an excuse for neglecting my duties as Midland REO. Sorry, but I won't be at this one, the Zed is off the road, and also, all being well and I'm ok, will be visiting Jay. Dean We normally meet around 12ish, but do not always go in for a meal at that time, the last meet at The Forge, I didn't leave until around 2.30pm and there were still members still nattering when I left. Hope this helps. Cheers Dave

Contrats M8, hope it all works out for you. Whilst we are on the job front, I had some good news at the beginning of September, my job was confirmed as permanent as a 6 month probationary period, which was great news as I had been out for work for nearly 2 years
